Thanks, Dwight. Your advice is good, but I'm having difficulty making the adjustment.
My friend let me tell you. After 31 years it wasn't easy for me either. I'd say it took every bit of 2 1/2 yrs to adjust to retirement. Everything about it sends a shock thru your system. But trust me... IT IS HEAVEN NOW... :D Give it time amigo.

David, I hope this photo of the pile side grain on my ironwood lambsfoot shows the "valley" I named the knife after
You have one of the most beautiful and character filled ironwoods.

I know you will have a great day with your grand kids. i'll have to do something about these moon shorts...within in the limits of family
Thanks brother. We had a fantastic day. Blessings of life... of God.

You know what would look incredibly fine in this photo... if the blades are closed... who would know? .....

Good Morning Guardians
Beautiful almost glowing image John.

Thank you Dwight, you are a man of great taste ;) Have a great time with the grandkids, absolutely fabulous pic
Thank you so much Jack. I appreciate your kindness my friend.

We’re going to Wisconsin to visit Harry and his lovely bride next weekend.
I have grown very fond of that fellow. Give him a hug for me Ron. I hope y'all have a safe and wonderful time.

Great post Del. You have a lot of them my friend.

Lucy Westenra?
:D

Thanks Dennis! A chilli festival sounds awesome! I'm not a spicy food person myself but I bet something like that would cure the stonking head cold I've picked up in work.
Hope you feel better yourself!
I hear you on the hot. I look for better than heat these days. Hatch chilies have a great earthy flavor, and you can find them in mild all the way up to too hot for me!
Thanks for the well wishes!:)
Dutch wants to say HI to Ari and Henry!

How could you, José!:cool::thumbsup:
Henry looks like he has it made, Dennis! ;):thumbsup: What breed is he? His haircut and color remind me of Bella, our little poodle.

He is already spoiled!
He is a 6 month old Cocker Spaniel. We got him at 1 week old, his mom had parvo, and the owners were trying to bottle feed 5 pups. He is the only one to survive, and he made himself at home.

Nice looking poodle! Wifey wants one.
I decided to put an old bolo on today. So I just had to carry Emmylou

Thank you, Preston! The vet said that since he survived, he will most likely have a great immune system. I think getting him away from the mother so quickly was what really helped. Bottle feeding every 3 hours was a bit rough though!:D

Lol. Henry is adorable and your Lamb is mighty fine, also.

I spent a few weeks cutting nothing but Italian food, veggies, and the occasional banana or apple with my GEC 81. Ended up with this crazy coloration:
Beautiful patina on that clip point and a lovely knife. However, it will not be allowed to remain on this thread my friend. Lambsfoot knives only. I would encourage you to edit the other knives out. ;)
