Guardians of The Lambsfoot!

Not only a fine image, but a wonderful phrase.(“perpetually sniveling snot bags”).:)

Thanks. And I was being generous to.... :D

It is David, there is still an image painted on the road there. The leather Lambsfoot was made for me by @padruig :)

Ahhh....I thought maybe it was an inkling of the 2020 lambsfoot....;)

When I was younger, I used to often stay in pubs, they were cheaper than most hotels, friendly, more interesting, and in the days before the licensing laws were relaxed, you could always get a few 'after-hours' pints. They are certainly not cheap places to stay anymore, but I wouldn't mind staying at The Cow & Calf, it's a great location

Aye, a lot have definately gone like the Fox above Hathersage, but if that's what the punters want that what the punters get I guess.

Rotten mate! :( That pic is anything but though, great shot

Cheers! I may actually get to rehaft those axe heads this year...

A busy day today! I’ll catch up later, but for now, y’all have a good day! :)

Leather covers, now there's a thing ;)

Yes indeed, I remember The Little John in Hathersage being a decent and very inexpensive place to stay once. You struggle to find a roof over your head at any price in the Peak District these days though

My 'To Do' list is getting like the Yellow Pages! :D

You too Ron, fine-looking choice for today my friend :)

Jack Black Jack Black That made me laugh.:)

The first version I came across was the one from Some Like It Hot, but the ending is a bit inappropriate! :D

Lovely photo Dwight
Thanks Jack.

Thanks Dwight; that's another great moon shot
Thanks David.

Hey Dwight, the vast majority of country pubs in England now do 'bed and breakfast'. They've had to, to remain viable. Depending where you go and at what time of year expect to pay £70-ish a night on upwards per room. Most of those types of pubs are the sort to also do evening meals as well.
Yorkshire has a profusion of such pubs
Good to hear David. I'm sure there would be some greatly interesting pub inns there.

I got my first lambsfoot in last Friday and so far really liking this knife and the blade shape is very handy. I can see it getting lots of carry time, and I'm starting to see why everybody here loves them! I'd also like to thank cigarrodog cigarrodog for answering all my questions and pointing me in the right direction of how to obtain one of these.
Very nice lamb there Ty. Welcome.

Have a great evening folks.IMG_0403.jpeg

Beauty

Another Beauty.

Not a Wright's, but still a Beauty.

Two Beauties.

Also a Beauty. Some day I want to own "Knife Rock", please put me in your will :D

Stag Beauty.

Beauty... the knife, not the cat. Cats are evil and make me sneeze. :D

Thanks Jack.

That is a beautiful knife, Jose.

Scooter, meet Emmylou - everyone, meet Scooter. It's a long story, but the upshot is she ended up with me.
Being a dog guy, I thought I'd never be fond of cats, but when she jumps up in my lap and starts purring...well...

Half/Stop Half/Stop I said it before and I’ll say it again. That’s nice.

Jack Black Jack Black - Glad you played the other one first. Might have it taken it the wrong way, otherwise.:)
