Not only a fine image, but a wonderful phrase.(“perpetually sniveling snot bags”).![]()
It is David, there is still an image painted on the road there. The leather Lambsfoot was made for me by @padruig![]()

When I was younger, I used to often stay in pubs, they were cheaper than most hotels, friendly, more interesting, and in the days before the licensing laws were relaxed, you could always get a few 'after-hours' pints. They are certainly not cheap places to stay anymore, but I wouldn't mind staying at The Cow & Calf, it's a great location![]()
Rotten mate! That pic is anything but though, great shot

Ahhh....I thought maybe it was an inkling of the 2020 lambsfoot....
Aye, a lot have definately gone like the Fox above Hathersage, but if that's what the punters want that what the punters get I guess.
Cheers! I may actually get to rehaft those axe heads this year...![]()
A busy day today! I’ll catch up later, but for now, y’all have a good day!

Thanks Jack.Lovely photo Dwight
Thanks David. Thanks Dwight; that's another great moon shot
Good to hear David. I'm sure there would be some greatly interesting pub inns there.Hey Dwight, the vast majority of country pubs in England now do 'bed and breakfast'. They've had to, to remain viable. Depending where you go and at what time of year expect to pay £70-ish a night on upwards per room. Most of those types of pubs are the sort to also do evening meals as well.
Yorkshire has a profusion of such pubs
Very nice lamb there Ty. Welcome.I got my first lambsfoot in last Friday and so far really liking this knife and the blade shape is very handy. I can see it getting lots of carry time, and I'm starting to see why everybody here loves them! I'd also like to thankcigarrodog for answering all my questions and pointing me in the right direction of how to obtain one of these.
+1Kevin, I don't know why but every time I see your ironwood I think of Dolly Parton?

Beauty
Another Beauty.
Not a Wright's, but still a Beauty.
Two Beauties.
Also a Beauty. Some day I want to own "Knife Rock", please put me in your will
Stag Beauty.
Beauty... the knife, not the cat. Cats are evil and make me sneeze.
You too, Dwight. Great shot of your AC.Thanks Jack.
Thanks David.

Hey Scooter! Magnificent animals they are, OG.Scooter, meet Emmylou - everyone, meet Scooter. It's a long story, but the upshot is she ended up with me.
Being a dog guy, I thought I'd never be fond of cats, but when she jumps up in my lap and starts purring...well...
