This is gonna sound weird, but for about 8 months the most difficult retirement adjustment for me was getting used to not having hassles.
All of a sudden I didn't have to cram things like Dr.s appointments into the work day or do things like rush to the store after work before going home.
I didn't have higher-ups on my case for budgets and reports.
