Guardians of The Lambsfoot!

I have sleep apnea Preston. It was diagnosed about 18 months ago, and getting a CPAP machine really made a difference to me, though it took a good while to get used to sleeping with a face-mask. Unfortunately, because of the two year-long cough I had, I had to stop using the CPAP machine. New medication has got rid of the cough, but now I need to get used to using the machine again

That's a real bugger not getting your proper sleep Jack, I have been taking medication for many years, the problem with that, is it clouds my thinking in the day.

NOOOOOOOOOO!

You are the life and soul of this thread Dave :thumbsup::thumbsup::thumbsup::thumbsup::thumbsup::thumbsup::thumbsup::thumbsup:

I think Jack's right, Dave. Always enjoy your posts. :)

dc50 dc50 Dave...I keep telling you. Don’t change a thing. Just be you. That’s plenty good, Pal.

You'd best not change a thing my friend.

Dedicating this to Dave dc50 dc50 :)

Thank you, my friends and I mean friends, in all my years I have never come across a finer bunch of Men. I am blessed to have you all in my life.

Thank you for the Sinatra dedication, Jack.:cool: This is my song to you all, peace.

Jack Black Jack Black I have sleep apnea. Had a terrible time adjusting. Mr. Stubborn, I suppose. I respect the ones that can adjust. BTW...Thank you for the fabulous two knives.

I’ve been super busy today which is the reason for the slow roll. I missed out on the one I thought I wanted. Besides Mr. Stubborn, they call me Mr. Procrastinator.:) Anyway, the first is the Snakewood. It’s righteous. I’ll show that later. But the Senator gives me great joy. I really, really love it. The covers suit me to a T. Ashley hand made a real gem. Off to the next chore.
PS. Thank you, Thank you, Thank you. Thank you also for the pin, too, my friend.:)

I just downloaded that song recently to my i-Phone! Always loved that song.

Anyways, I wanted to check in and see if there are any Guardians who would like to be added to the Guardians of the Lambsfoot Map? I hadn't made any updates in a while, but I noticed today that José ( Pt-Luso Pt-Luso ) had a new avatar, so I was updating that on the map, and I thought there might be a few new Lambsfoot owners or other members who aren't on there yet and might like to be added. Just let me know and I'll get you on there! (Please be sure to quote this post or @ me in your reply to make sure I see it!)

I've already seen that you made the change of my avatar Barrett, thank you very much for this...:)

Those little stags are special :cool: Dwight do you get a lot of rain this time of year? We need rain as the forest fires have started up already West of us.
Thanks Dave. We do get a lot of rain. But it can get pretty dry in August. Arkansas is a very green state with very high humidity. I hope your forest fires stay to a minimum up there Dave.

Morning all. The sun is shining again in Manchester.View attachment 1108345
Fantastic ironwood. WOWIMG_1075.jpg

An excellent photo of your lambsfoot Mark
Thanks, Dave!

You don't take naps?
haha, if only! No rest for the wicked.

Looking good Dave :)

Nice pic Mark

:D

Thanks Vince, I'm really eating a lot of fruit at the moment :)

Morning John :)

Hope it gets to you today Ron, but that ebony sure is nice :)
Thanks, Jack!

Mark, your Lambsfoot's Ironwood looks so smooth and satiny, great photo.

Morning John, all attention is directed to your Lambsfoot, very effective!

Hope your Damascus Lambsfoot arrives soon, Ron. That nice Ebony one will suffice...at leas for a while.

Guardians, it's not a nice morning here, fog, drizzle and the threat of rain and snow today and tomorrow. Tracking shows that my Damascus Lambsfoot left the UK on the 5th...but, nothing since then. Oh well, I do have a few toys to play with:D:thumbsup: Hope your day is a good one.

Thank you. That's a fine wheel gun. Single six?

Great pic, Harvey! I tried for a solid year to get used to my cpap machine (torture device) to no avail. Still messed up from it.

Well, I got around to putting an edge on my newest acquisition

Beauty!

Just listening to some Frank Sinatra, and thought I'd treat myself to a beer and some spicy Spanish olives. No sooner cracked the can when Windows took it upon itself to change all my default programs, so then I have to sit there with no music, drinking my beer, while tediously sorting out their latest SNAFU. Why did that company decide to commit commercial suicide, I'd never choose to buy another Windows product?

Signed my outof Imgur too! o_O

At least you had beer.;)

Same here and have for many years.

Gorgeous pics Dave as always.

Great comp Harvey and the stag is really nice. My conceal carry is almost always a derringer. I'll try to get a photo.

I really like his work Jack. That is a beauty.

Gracias

Otra vez! :)

Wonderful and the color!!!

You really captured the richness of the ironwood Mark.

I can see. Hearing is not so great. Absolutely no sense of smell. :(

That lamb shot brings one to attention!

Beautiful Ron. Seems like all of your ebonies are ultra black!

Much obliged Preston.

Super nice western rig and cutlery.

You'd best not change a thing my friend.

I can see why. That is a stunning knife both mark and pile!

You keep showing it and I'll keep saying it. I love that green jigged bone.

Wow Harvey! Rugged terrain on that striking stag senator. They really nailed it with these knives. Awesome photo too.
Thanks, Dwight!

Thanks Jack, but you do not think I'm annoyed, I increasingly like this Lambsfoot!!!

That's good to hear Jose :)

I hope you have a good Thursday, Jack, in Lucy's good company!!!:D:thumbsup:

Thank you very much my friend, it was a little cool first thing this morning, but it is beautiful weather now. I didn't find anything to report in the market, but enjoyed the usual good crack with the guys down there :) Then I had to go and pick up a large box of Jiffy bags, which I'm just now dropping off at home, before going out again (sneaking on here while I can ;) ) :) Hope your day is going well, you must show us some more of your beautiful country again :)

That is interesting, Jack. One minor complaint I've always had with swayback Lambsfoot knives (more specifically, Wright's swayback Lambsfoot knives, which are the only ones I have) is that for the size and amount of blade you get, they seem a bit bulky in the pocket. That knife seems to take that to the extreme! :D

I much prefer the ergonomics of the palm-filling Swayback pattern myself Barrett, but one thing I have noticed about the Candle-end style is that they make the blade an absolute cinch to pinch :) Not that I have a problem with any of my Lambsfoot knives, but I know some folks struggle a bit

I thought I'd post this separately from my previous post, because I assume some of you (like myself) sometimes skim over posts with quotes in them because they're often directed at the person quoted rather than everyone.

Thank you once again for maintaining the map Barrett, it was a great idea, and you have sone a fantastic job of it :) I still hope it can be added to the index at some point, but for now, I'll post a link on the front page of the thread

Rosewood with me on my walk today.
EDCWySu.jpg

Beautiful photo Dave, hope you had a good walk :) I am hoping to get out for a wee hike on Saturday

I actually prefer the bulkiness.

Yes, me too

Nice photo anyway, Jack. Technology has a way of biting us in the butt when we least expect it or want it to.

That is just great, LOL, Vince. Not to crowded in there!

That does show a lot of change...I like it better.

Good thing, Lucy was probably getting a bit jealous of the Damascus ones getting the attention. Have a great day Jack.

Thanks Preston, I wish I had a Lambsfoot for every hour I've wasted sorting out glitches since Windows 10 appeared  I suspect so my friend, don't want her going feral again  Thank you very much Preston, you too :)

Even though it snowed this morning, I carry a Lambsfoot because those chives won’t cut themselves.

Great use for a Lambsfoot Dave :)

It should be home tomorrow Jack! But I’m not holding my breath! ;)

Thanks Dwight. I have been fortunate to get some jet black Ebony! :)

Thanks Preston! I’ve got my fingers crossed! ;)

I hope it makes it Ron :)

Sorry to hear that my friend, I think insomnia is one of the many curses of middle-age :( We are blessed to have you here Dave, you are certainly among family here, thank you for the sweet tunes :)

Cool Derringer Dwight, looks great with your Lambsfoot  I'm afraid I'm reduced the this for concealed carry! :D

Take it easy on the beer Jack, you don't want to end up like this poor guy. :p

LOL! Definitely not Dave :D

Those little stags are special :cool: Dwight do you get a lot of rain this time of year? We need rain as the forest fires have started up already West of us.

Sorry to hear about the fires Dave, that seems early in the year considering the depth of snow  Any word on the house sale?

I've already seen that you made the change of my avatar Barrett, thank you very much for this...:)

I like your new avatar Jose, very classy :)

Morning all. The sun is shining again in Manchester.View attachment 1108345

Beautiful pic Wayne, that Ironwood is really special :) Glad the sun is shining :) Same here, so much so that I can barely see my computer screen! :D

Gorgeous Dwight :)

Good Morning Guardians

Lovely lupine Lambsfoot John :)

At least you had beer.;)

Yeah, I'm glad I didn't just have the one! :D

Hope everyone is having a good day :) Me and Lucy are heading out again shortly :)
