Gun Picture Thread

Not too bad for my first 1911. Gun is phenomenal, the standard Kimber mag as expected is not great, falls out upon insertion unless the slide is locked back. Otherwise, I put 100 rounds through it no issues. Wilson Combat mags are great.

Texture on the trigger is a bit excessive. Flayed a little bit of skin off.

Got to rapid fire it, very nice gun. I hadn't shot a 1911 in over 10 years, probably closer to 15 but I got dialed in pretty quick. The Truglo TFX Pro sights are nice, though I prefer a blacked out rear.

These were at 25 yards.

The mag should not fall out. I have a new custom 2 and that doesn't happen. I use the supplied kimber mag, mags from Ed Brown and Ruger without that happening. Hopefully the Wilson mags stay seated. What did Kimber's customer service say about the issue? Curious in case I need to check for something.
Nice shooting.
With the right belt and holster carrying a full size 1911 is not a problem or at least not for me.

I haven't talked to Kimber, it's a pre-owned gun. However, I am considering getting an open carry rig for one of my pistols. I'm not a big fan of safeties, so it might even be for my Chiappa Rhino 30DS.

Understand

Added the Radian Ramjet Afterburner compensator and match barrel to my OG Sig P365, in addition to the previous Wilson Combat XL grip, manual safety, Streamtlight TLR-6 HL, and Magguts 14+1 magazine upgrade. Still fits in my right front pocket too!

I have the copper barrel version on order too, for one of my other P365...

Nice looking Sig. I tried one of the 365’s and just couldn’t get use to the trigger. Otherwise it ran perfectly. Heard great things about the Ramjet. Need to get me one for one of my Glocks and try it out.

Someone one YouTube says the Ramjet Afterburner is Da bomb 😍 and said Ramjet is the ported barrel and Afterburner is the compensator. I get to shoot it Friday.

Edit - the P365 trigger is actually pretty good for me, and a bit better than my squishy Glock 23, but not as good as the trigger on my Glock 19 with top of the line ZEV trigger, or my ZEV OZ9c trigger... I really like the Trigger on my Shield Plus, so crisp no creep; but I only get 13 rounds with the Magguts upgrade vs 14 :p

Take the wife shopping G19 for the day.

Been heavily into the Glocks lately. Adding the backstrap to the 17 was a game changer. Talon grips round out a sweet shooting gun.

The other day with my Inkosi.

Got this Microtech in on Friday. It’s outstanding so far. Quick shot at the range tonight as it was getting dark.
