Gun Picture Thread

I usually go with Trijicon HDs, but my G43X came with Ameriglo Protector sights and I liked them enough that I didn’t change. Very similar to the HDs.

I’m pretty sure the protector sights are similar to the Hackathorns. I ended up ordering a set today. PA did a 12% off.

The OZ9c with black or copper threaded barrel is mine, and the one with non-threaded copper barrel is my son’s (going shooting tomorrow). Both threaded barrels are the same pistol, but he traded copper barrels with me.
The Sig ZEV 365 with grayguns XL grip is my son’s, and the one with Wilson combat XL grip and TLR6 HL is mine.

Got my Grayguns Sig P365 XL grip module installed with my new TLR-6 HL green laser/light combo. I can just about get everything (gun, batteries, mags) stored in my Sig Vaultek Lifepod 1.0 case. The flap for the ammo box was cut off and put in the case so I know what lot of DT ammo is loaded in the 3 magazines.

Indeed. Have an Optika 6 3-18 on my 223 Wylde and it is perfect for that rifle. Had a couple of 4-20s on rifles in the past.

Oops. Since my Holosun 507K dot is green, I went for the RED laser + light, so I can more easily tell which one is which. The TLR-6 HL with green laser + light went on my P365X with short barrel/full Wilson grip.

I have too many Sig P365, but what I'm finding is that the short grips are not fitting my hands right, and I think that is causing some vertical stringing at 10 yards, since the gun can move up and down at the muzzle depending on how tight I grip it. I don't want to have a death grip everytime I shoot my OG P365 from 2019.

So, I changed out the grip module to a Wilson Combat XL grip with TLR-6 HL laser light combo from my son's old 2019 P365 (kept the FCU, barrel, recoil, and slide together). The other short Grayguns grip and Lima laser are on the other one now, and that will stay in a lockbox in the living room for emergencies. It's been proven that I shoot better with this combo, and I feel better in my head with the idea that it's my original gun with new grip and light (like a Feng Shui thing) 😂

The Wilson short and XL grip modules fit my hand better than the short Grayguns, especially at the bottom rear of the grip where it locks in. I have the Wilson Short Grip on my ZEV Z365, and it's much better to control than the shorter thinner Sig grip modules, even the re-lasered short Sig grip modules by Grayguns, although still not quite as good as any of the the Wilson or Grayguns XL modules.

So Wilson XL grip > Grayguns XL > Sig OEM XL > Wilson Short > Grayguns short > OEM short grip. I PREFER anything that is XL size or Wilson (long or short).

I'm fine with an OEM Sig XL grip, and like the Sig XL lasered grip from Grayguns even better. But the short Sig-shaped grips aren't doing it for me, unless I use a Sig extended 12 round grip with it. If I'm going to carry that, I might as well use my favorite grip, the Wilson XL. Eventually the Grayguns short grip will be swapped to another short Wilson grip. But the Grayguns long grip on my Silver XL will remain where it is, as it works great and looks great.

My short Wilson Grip should be here tomorrow for the other P365 with Lima laser.

Here’s an old 1965 Marlin 36, 30-30.
Was in well used shape. Found a couple of original replacement parts and brought it back to its original configuration. Disassembled and cleaned thoroughly, it was dirty.
Shoots pretty good. Me not so much.
