Sunday Gunday Funday.

This little guy stayed close to us the entire time we were on the 25yd line. The shooting didn’t bother him a bit.

The Volquartsen Scorpion is so accurate we don’t even bother shooting it at 25yds. Straight to the 50 and 100.

Part of the crew that went to the range today.

I just picked this pair up from my brother.

He bought both of them lightly used about 10 years ago and barely used them himself, so they're in acceptable condition.
The Hi-Point is what it is, it's a cheap gun that works.

The rifle is a Savage MK II, it doesn't say MKII F but unless it was made before the AcuTrigger it must be the Walmart special that comes without it.
I am currently looking for a MKIIG hardwood stock to put on it.

I'm looking to replace the plastic stock on the MK II with a factory hardwood stock, but in the meantime while I'm waiting for the right MKIIG stock to turn up at a good price from Numrich or on Ebay I decided to break out the rattle cans.

I will be replacing the stock , and I'm looking to find out which Williams aperture sight I can have mounted to it.
I'm looking for something that'll be mounted to the rear of the receiver on the left side which I would have to get drilled & tapped.
I do not want any of the options that use those scope mount holes on top because they're too far forward and I like a rear mounted receiver sight.
If only this thing had a 3/8 dovetail rail I could just mount a William's 5D-AG and a taller front sight.
Maybe If I can find a section of 3/8 dovetail to mount on top I can use one of my 5D-AG's, but that might sit a bit too high.

Bought this Benelli Supernova a couple of days ago. I didn’t need another SD shotgun, but for the price I couldn’t turn it down. Took it apart and got her all cleaned up. Nice shotgun.
Nephew’s coming down to take a look at it. Says he needs one of those.😁

Nice. I owned one of those when they first came out. Mine was loose in the fit/finish department, but ran just fine. Besides, you can’t have too many SD shotguns.
