Gun Picture Thread

Finally built up the scones to do a detailed strip. Wasn’t as bad as I thought it would be. I think I want to fit a beaver tail safety. This gun has some minor hammer bite. I told myself that I wasn’t going down the 1911 rabbit hole, yet here I am.

Nice.

How long did it take to put it back together? Serious question. Doing that with a Beretta M9 is a pain …
 
My Savage mk2 project is finally complete.

Hopefully this .650 skinner guide series front sight I installed is tall enough.

It's going to be awhile before I can get out and do some testing with it though.
With the factory front sight it was shooting at least 12" high at 20yd, this one is 1/4" taller and hopefully tall enough to leave room for elevation adjustment.

Is that a Williams peep for the rear sight?
