Guns & Hinderers

Lots of nice looking guns! Here is an ugly one:

That thing is friggin sweet BT. Where do you find all of these awesome toys!?

I know we all have our favorite blade forum's threads that we tend to read and reread, and I think this is my favorite. My dad passed away a couple of weeks ago and it has been a difficult time all around. I've probably thumbed through this thread on my phone 200 times in the last couple of weeks and it's always been a nice distraction for a few minutes that has helped me clear my mind. Thank you to everyone who has posted here. It's a small thing, but something that has helped me. I, to date, don't yet have an actual Hinderer (hopefully soon though), so I photographed my 560CBCF with my favorite of my dad's guns that has since become mine.

I am very sorry for your loss. I am glad that the forum and this thread has offered a measure of solace.

I lost my Dad many years ago, I still miss him these 30 years later. Time does heal all wounds however and the sting of loss dissapates with the passing of time.

I will certainly try and continue to post in the hopes I can come up with some pics that might pay homage.

God Bless and I pray for Peace and Comfort for You and your Family.

Thank you Rubicon. This has just been a little reminder for me that sometimes the little things we do can mean more to others. I can promise that the first day I own an XM (again hopefully sooner rather than later) I'll be posting here with some of his more interesting pieces that have been passed along to me.

Well I wish you good fortune in the quest and am glad you saw fit to be part of our community and realize that the "knife ownership" part is merely a happenstance of being here - Good folks are ALWAYS welcome regardless of what they carry in the front (or rear) pocket. :)

Someone here once pointed out to me that a great part of being a Hinderer fan/user/collector was searching for the right one. I think now I have at least the right occasion and that's a good start for me.

So sorry for your loss NJ, glad you enjoy this part of the forum, as our leader said (Rubi) ownership not a prerequisite to be here. To me the hunt is a major part of my Hinderer acquisitions. Also your dad had good taste in guns and your ZT is also crave worthy. You should be very proud of your dad I can tell by your mannerisms Dad did an outstanding job raising you!

Welcome to our little family, complete with lite hearted jabs at each other, small bickering, a little drama, show and tell ( remember pictures, pictures), but most important the respect we have toward each other. May god ease the pain of your loss.

NjHart,

Welcome and please accept my condolences for your loss. Good luck in finding your first, special, XM.

I'm starting to think the "right one" will never be found, at least for me. And I agree that's what makes this fun, seeing what's next :)

NjHart,
Just read your post. Sorry for your loss. Please accept my condolences.

Awesome ti scale! I should have one on the way this week myself! I'm really excited. I've always wanted one but as you know they are tough to find.

Love the accessories on this bad boy. Love how you added the rail system to rest your Hinderer on ;)

NjHart - So sorry for your loss. You and your family will be in our thoughts and prayers. I too was on the hunt for my first Hinderer and finally purchased one from a BF member (NijaRyder0920 - GREAT guy). It should arrive this week and I'll be sure to post a picture of it here. Stay strong.
