Gunting Seminar - Vancouver, BC. Nov. 9/10

So this is where all you are. Bram send Neal and Greta back, I'm running out of material to teach, and we have a class tomorrow night.

Jim, we are coming back down to Miami soon,, so limber up those muscles. And you talking about pain, this can't be true. Weren't you the one that called me a wimp, cause I said something about all the bruises I had from Bram?

haha actually I would love it if you told me what kind of stuff we will do, that'll give me a head start to the seminar.:)

You can tell me about the sheath and video but don't remind me of the two months. Trying not to think of the time period......maybe it'll go by faster.

So, please fork over some techniques or neat things so I can practice during the time.;)

Poor Jimmy, since he got his new walker he's just not as quick as he used to be! You have to understand, it's hard to hold onto the Gunting AND the handle bars at the same time! :D :eek: :eek: :D

What kind of "bait-and-switch" operation are you guys running at BA? I go there looking for a $60 Machete, which was "just sold last week" :rolleyes:, and when I ask if the Patton Mandrita is still there, (specifically asking Ida to lie to me if it is) she says "yes, and it's beautiful". What kinda crap is that! :D

So, $625 later.....well you know the rest. I may have to remove the BA link from my website. ;)

Things are rolling along. Fish bait will be waiting for you upon arrival. Live uni should be easily available in November. Dim SUm has been scouted out. Maybe some Thai too. Registrations are on pace for a full class. I'll drop you an email later in the week.

Any questions about the seminar? Hotel/motel locations for those that are travelling?

Oh yeah, Frank (Mr. Stinky) will be having Bram teach the following weekend (16th/17th) in Spokane, WA for anyone that wants to double their training time. I'll be heading down to play at that one too. A couple of the Vancouver area people may be able to hitch a ride if you want to come along.
 
Thanks for the info Steve. This is gonna be great. Wish I could make it the following weekend too but the HOK Christmas party is that week which means free food and loads of knives and such to be won.

Can't wait for that sheath.

Christmas is early this year....Gunting knife, Gunting sheath, Gunting seminar with Bram...this is gonna be great!!!

Well she is pretty feisty!! Saw her break up a fight in the gym once. Yeah she's gutsy but she's also clumsy!!

Flicks open a knife in my car...ends up flinging the whole damn thing.
Plays basketball with me...runs into me all the time.
