The seller was going to wait days to ship. The buyer canceled before the knife shipped. Refund the money, relist it for sale. This was blown way out of proportion. I think both buyer and seller have a few lessons to learn here.

Would you go on eBay and post pictures of a knife you're not selling, in the first picture then say that's not the one I'm selling see the next pictures? Then sell the knife and blame the buyer when he returns it? Edit the pictures out of your thread Natedog, nobody cares about a knife you're not selling.
Upon further review, this thread should have never been created, and the OP is continueing to look worse and worse to me. He also created a feedback thread on anothrr forum and who knows how many others to try and smear this guys name. The post i saw was closed due to it having nothing to do with a transaction on that particular forum. While i myself have 100% feedback and have dealt with some difficult customers in the past..... ill never be doing business with The OP after seeing this 12 year old tantrum over a deal that was never fully completed. I can't imagine the mess that could have been if god forbid the buyer followed through and for whatever reason wasn't happy. This should be lesson Nate.... Take the good with the bad and its never a good idea to jump off the deep end.
As for Hancea, your word is your bond and if you weren't sure you shouldn't have sent the funds. There have been plenty of times that I've bought something and another knife had presented itself sometimes immediately after.... thats not a good enough reason to cancel a deal you agreed to.

Agreed on both counts. While a buyer shouldn't withdraw from a deal once the ball's already rolling, a seller shouldn't all of a sudden decide to keep an arbitrary percentage of the funds as well as exacting revenge of this sort.
Not really in keeping with the spirit of good faith on either side.

wow, yeah, somebody i would never deal with. this is what happens when you let your negative emotions rule your actions. plus, instead of putting a bold disclaimer that the knife pictured is not the one for sale (after the fact), it would have taken less time to just delete the images and add the correct ones. the best thing to do here natedog is admit your mistake by changing/removing negative feedback and hoping this all just goes away, peace
Thank you OP for this thread. I now have two people to put on the list to not do business with. It really is a shame that issues such as this happen. This is a hobby. Its not worth ruining your reputation over. Life is too short to make issues out of petty things. Lesson learned I hope!

Are you kidding? The other guy just got a huge favor. Nobody who sees this thread will do a deal with you or the OP ever again. Hopefully more people see this thread.

That was a bit harsh.....lets kick the guy while hes down.
He made a mistake and unless someone can prove other bad dealings lets hope this is an isolated incident. More people have come forward with negative dealings with the OP than the accused. I'm not condoning what he did by any means at all, but this deal was never completed.
Bottom line is both people messed up, but if i HAD to choose which one NOT to ever do business with, it would be the OP. He made way too much out of nothing. Would i have been upset if someone sent me money and back out? Hell yes i would.... but it didn't call for a major smear campaign. I just wouldn't do business with you again, leave some negative rep and move on.

I noticed one other small detail lol.... the OP had someone post a secondary ill take it behind hancea on the 24th, the feedback thread was started yesterday, im interested to know if the secondary party purchased the knife?
Oh yes I did. I read the sale thread carefully and posted that I'll take it (wishing luck to hancea
). The Natedog let me know that it's available again and I bought it. As I know it has been already shipped. Noticed this thread 5 mins ago by accident.

sad to see a good/honest man like RIO get trashed for no reason. That is plain wrong. He does not need it, but I have dealt with Rio and he is solid and would never throw someone under the bus for any reason. He's no bully or scum AT ALL. He's on several forums and is always a pure gentleman. It is times like this that I think a delete should be allowed, what a shame to slander someone, without knowing them. What the heck is going on .. Sorry Rio, you are solid with me.
