Here is a pic of some cocobolo scales I did for my Persistence with a matching cocobolo Villain.

What would it cost for a Villain in a good curly walnut with the hole drilled horizontal instead of vertical?

Good curly walnut? I will have to find stock and "good/curly" are relative. Generally wood Villains are $20. If the stock is expensive I will have to charge a little more. If you can supply the wood, the cost is $20.

Let me see what I can track down.

A brief search found some curly black walnut pen blanks. If this looks good, I can order it for you and the price would be $25 for each piece.

Quick update. New wood models will not included shellac. All wood model will be treated with boiled linseed oil only. If you absolutely must have shellac, please let me know. It will be an additional $5.

Shellac isn't necessary for protecting the wood models. I've been wearing a zebra wood necklace every day in the shower. It took trips to the beach and the pool through the summer with zero problems. The BLO works wonders. I also think the shellac takes away from the natural wood feel and look.

I just built two new confetti's for a buyer. Have a look. Unfortunately they are already sold, but I think they turned out fantastic and wanted to share. They are close enough to identical, but each have a little something different that makes them unique and special. WABI-SABI!

Quick update on stock. If you see something you like that is SOLD, please inquire through PM or the thread. If I have stock I can make another usually within a day. There may be some more exotic pieces that will require extra time to get stock, but I can duplicate everything you see. The ONLY EXCEPTION are the trit beads. There is at least a 3 week delay due to trit stock.

OINK! LITTLE PIGGY PINK! This one immediately went to my daughter. Others available during the month of October.

Sorry I mispoke.... I meant walnut Burl. I only ask for it because I like the burl shape in a medium to dark wood. Ash, black ash....something with a lot of pattern on it. Suggestions? Also my intention is to hang it on a necklace. I wanted to run the necklace through the horizontal hole but in looking closer at the design I don't know that it would hang right unles you drilled trhough the middle of it. So unless you think that's do-able I'm gonna say No hole and when I get it I'll attach a clasp that I can hang on the necklace (or make a jeweler I know do it) so I can get it to hang right.

Arrrggg! I just looked at your Acrylic, Brass, and Wooden Skull Beads (Plus Other Carvings), thread and I saw a totally different style that I haven't seen anywhere else and I love it! Tenth picture down from the top, skull on the far left. Caption is:A few more wood varieties. Zebra, Burmese Rose x2, Cocobolo. The zebra one...I love that style! That's it....in some sort of Burl....oh come on...tell me you can...wait no...tell me you WILL do it!

The one on the far left? This was a one off. I never named it. This would likely be more expensive. I haven't had the practice to build it without a lot of time. Let me track down stock on the burl and I'll let you know the cost.
