2. Demko/Cold Steel AD-10
3. Cold Steel Ultimate Hunter
4. Demko AD-15 (not the Cold Steel...too flat/aggressive)
5. Hinderer XM-24

I like the Shaman but the handle is just a bit too short for my hands to rank top 5.

Some cold steel plastic series are hand filling, i.e. voyager, rajah 3. There’s also Bush Ranger, which is thicc, or Ultimate hunter, AD10 etc.
Many Benchmade would fit your description, ie griptilian and freek.
For spyderco, shaman.

I'm basically looking for fixed blade ergos on a folder.

I went through a similar search a couple of years ago. I found these.

Shirogorov F3
Cherburkov Large Strizh
Cherburkov Scout
Spartan Harsey
Sander Contra

All are roughly a half inch thick, with four inch blades and Full Flat Grinds. I eventually selected the Shiro due to availability then. In Elmax, it’s a real workhorse.

The two big knives that are the most ergonomic I've ever come across are the ZT 0301 and 0560. Their contoured G-10 and Titanium framelock give them the advantage over the competition. Also, the SOG Seal XR that was recently released seemed to have round/contoured handles.

Cold Steel AD-10, with its big rounded handle that feels like it belongs on a fixed blade. Still the best folding knife handle I've ever felt.

ZT 0300 series is a close second. Cold Steel Recon 1 is a good thinner option as well, but still very rounded and great in the hand.

I also particularly like how the Microtech Socom series feels in hand, but it's not quite fixed blade level.

I would avoid the Spyderco Military. It's okay for such a thin, slab-sided folder, but it's not very comfortable in hand when applying any significant amount of force during cutting.

I have a Microtech socom on the way. I should have it before Christmas.

I've handled the military and found it to feel too skinny.
