Hand filling ergonomic folders for large hands

Most of the discussion here involves more expensive or premium knives. If you don't mind a less expensive knife, I'd second the recommendation for a Civivi Naja. It's a larger folder but carries well. It fills my hand decently and is comfortable to use. The action is nice. The blade is tall but thin and comes very sharp, making it great for slicing. The 9Cr18Mov holds an edge better than I expected.

Another inexpensive option could be the Harnds Talisman. It doesn't fill my hand as much as the Naja but it's very comfortable for extended use. The action is fantastic. It's only AUS8 but it's also only $30-something.

Civiv Durus just entered my collection, small, stout and D2.

Sounds interesting. I'd love to see some pictures of the mods if you get a chance.
If you’re on Spyderco forums I go by the same name there and pics are posted in show your mods and or the Amalgam thread. I gave up trying to link photos here as it never works right, or the image hosts decide to screw things up and you can’t post without paying.

Viper Italo. I love my Ti version. 3.75" blade. Very nice sculpted, rounded, textured hand filling scales. Interesting design. Ergos are very nice. 4mm spine with FFG to nice thin edge.

ZT 452 has a good long handle.
I like the look of the 452. The blade is a bit longish and I've heard the geometry isn't the sliciest.

I'm thinking a TRM Atom with thicck 3D scales would be close to what I want. Good design, but very thin.

Fantoni HB 01 (4") or HB 03 (3.5") Harsey design, slicey with great ergonomics

Cold Steel Ultimate Hunter, or how about an Opinel?
I plan on ordering a couple of No.8 Opinels next time I check out. Probably mod one and keep one as is. I don't think I've held an ultimate hunter yet, I'll check my knife shop next time I'm there.

Steel Will - Gekko 1500 in micarta may be up your alley. :)

Extremely comfortable, large handled lockback. Smooth too!
