Has Busse destroyed your interest in other fixed blades?

For fixed almost exclusively Bussekin! Besides a couple flyers... I just received a stunning RJ Martin Fixed but more for the beauty. And have a couple CRK and others... but 29 Busse and counting says it all!

I do dig my custom higher end folders/flippers and have a nice little CF scaled folder collection for EDC. But...

Busse still rules this roost!!!

More Busse and Guns pics to be launched very soon... gotta show off the new Noveske and PIMP2 in one pic!!

I was new to knives when I bought a stealth hawk about a year ago, it's been blurry since. INFI in, INFI out.

I have seen the other models and I'm convinced I'm an infiholic. I only own one piece of sr101, it's a military overrun regulator.

I'm forever getting trade offer for a hinder folder or Chris reeve custom. I have to explain that when I look at any other knife I think what would my INFI do to this soft, weak, pot metal. I'm totally an infi snob, guilty, it just gets so Damn shiny....

Yes happened to me also...... since I have been training with the regulator nothing else fits my hands. I EDC a regulator concealed IWB and have been for the last year. Nothing else seems to work... I think it's because of the handle mostly.

I have grappled with this issue for the last several years. I am torn between two knife brands and keep going back and forth with them. You might know heard or even used some but they are Busse Combat and Swamp Rat Knife Works!!! Enough said...:D

I second the Dozier. Busse has the INFI but Dozier has the perfect handle, imo.

In a word, YEP! I hardly look at any other blades now. I'm still fond of Crusader Forge knives but Busse is where it is for my money. Thinking real hard about an anniversary straight handled Battle Mistress as my chopper next. It never ends though does it?

I started off with Randall's but Busse dominates my fixed blade collection now. I love knives so I m ever on the lookout for something to improve my system and add to my collection. Lately, I ordered a Randall #15 and a few different S!K GSOs. I got interested in the #15 because I love the Infidu but would like to have something similar in SS. The GSOs have received lotsa good reviews but I have yet to own any 3V knife so I decided to give the PHT CPM3V a try.

If I managed to recover from the recent damage, next target on my radar is a Rodent 6.

One of those issues one thinks about when your in the woods. Would i trade a busse for another blade in this situation. Al mar, Randall, kiku matsuda, bark river ,are all beautiful blades, but i cant see my self batoning them through limbs to make a shelter or firewood. I like treeman , fehrman, and behring knives for survival as well, but when i pack my gear, its always a busse blade that goes in. Ive played with a lot of knives since i bought my old a2 steel heart 2 and i always go back to the concept of "why did i buy those knives when i could have bought busse?" And then they usually go up for sale.

Nope. I just preordered two Survive! Gso4.5 bushcrafters. Busse doesnt make a design than fits that niche.

No, I still enjoy other brands of fixed blades. Although if I need a knife for hard use, I will grab a Busse family knife.

... It never ends though does it?
It does not seem to. :D
By the way, I like your forum name. Many years ago I sold a new S&W model 27 complete with the factory wood box - I always regretted selling it.

nemesis, great post bro, the answer is yes, yes and yes!!! high end is high end, Busse quality is awesome and the family friendship is even better, have not met a finer group of people

I have been toying with getting onto the Randall made. However I only buy knives I intend on using so now I am looking at a miller bros. But for the last two years I have been bound to Busse.

Thank you sir! You are right it is a fine group of folks here

Fortnatelly or unfortunatelly I lost my interest in other blades.

I used to have ESEE 6, Becker BK-7, Bark River Bravo 2, Ont. RAT-7, Extrema Ratio but now, they all are sold or under selling.

Now I'm trying to save enough money for my next dream-knife, for an ASH-1.

If I see a LionSTEEL M7, my only thought is that M7's shape is stolen from Busse : shape of the blade is from SFNOLE, the handle is from BASIC 8, and the cord hole at the end of the handle is from RMD. :-))))))

I got the disease. :-))))

The only two knives, which I never want to sell - beside Busse knives - are mesterpieces of two local knife makers I really admire.

I let the other knives go.

Don't be afraid to use a Randall....Before my first Busse Blade I never held back on the abuse I gave my Randall's...they can take it...Busse Just takes it up a notch....

Miller Bros is legit my friend.....they take overbuilt to a new level. They are some HEAVY freiken blades but incredibly sharp from the shop as well. I have their large dagger and it cut me without even knowing for ten minutes. I am still loyal to Busse but Miller Bros is a great and growing company as well! They have like a six month waiting list right now i think...
