Hey Dan you've got some beautiful Busse's in your collection. But for me if its basically for a self defense type knife and leagal to carry in your state. I'd just go with this one.

But if it's not legal to carry i'd just go with the culti or warden. But for me with carrying a concealed handgun already i just carry some type of folder. They are alot less bulky and don't seem to be poking you or getting in the way. That's just my 2cents though yours may very. Good luck with your decision and thanks for the eye candy.:cool:

Great pics.....however, it appears to me you forgot to post a pic of one ;)

Good to see you again.

Hope you are feeling better

Dan,

Of those pictured, I'd vote for something Satin with pretty handles. I think that a "prettier" knife with "custom shop" on it is going to be much better received by "non knife" folks than a black bladed one with "combat" on it. I learned this the hard way on the way back from a mission trip.

I'd packed a few larger fixed blades and folders in my checked luggage. One of them was Becker BK7. I was pulled aside, sans interpreter, and told that the BK7 was "weapon" and couldn't go home with me. It was a "weapon" because it had the word "combat" etched into the blade under the coating. A few minutes, @$40, and 1 Swisss Army knife later I was free to go board my plane back to the good old US OF A. I can imagine a LEO having the same reaction to the word "combat" on your EDC.

If you plan to carry it on your belt or IWB, I'd vote Cultie, SAR 3, and Boss Streets, probably in that order. I'm really looking forward to the Anorexic Boss Streets. Once they are in hand, I think it will become my favorite EDC.

Keep the pics coming.

No Jerry, THANK YOU! I know you had a hand in making this Dagger happen along with the other stuff I collect! I love what you are doing with the company, some real killer stuff!!! I can't wait for the folder :D
Dan

I need a watch. Could you send me those with the folders so I could try 'em out? I've always wanted a good folder too, but Busse doesn't make one :grumpy:

I cut myself enough with a single edge knife, so I stay away from double edge ones!

Here are a couple of my favorite EDC combos..................

Dan,

I have been away for a while but I drop in from time to time.

I enjoy your posts and your photos.

Don't let some of the people in the knife forums get you down. Try and remember that it is just the internet and as much as there are great people here in this forum and on the forums in general; there are the mean bastids too.

Just roll with it and enjoy the people that are your friends

Thanks, I do appreciate that along with everyone that is staying positive. I used to post here more before. I think that's part of the fun, showing off what new Busse you just got and so very excited that you want to share. Don't be mad someone has something you don't, make it a challenge to get something he/she wants more so you can get that knife off of them. I see tons of knives I would really want but happy other score big too. But recently there have been some bad vibes on here. So lets keep it positive so more members come and have fun. Life's just too short to be mad all the time.

Yea, I'm better now. If I felt well at Knob Creek maybe I would have bought more knives:D
What one did I forget to post a picture of? I have so many, you need to be more specific. This one?

Dan,

After having to break the bad news over that sweet BOSC ID, I forgot to suggest a choice... Again, sorry to be the one to fill you in on the PA. laws, but I'd hate to see you run into a jam with it...and looking forward to seeing it in Easton.
Really, I've found that when it comes to an EDC, it's good to have one that looks great, is there when you need it, but 'invisible' when not, didn't cost too much cabbage, and will do everything you'd expect it to...

In addition to something more robust to rotate in for the woods or "in the field", personally, I'd choose this one as a main EDC for everything else. Would look really cool with the right leather sheath. :)

Most of those are nice and most people would be proud to own them, but I like the basic "Busse Combat" knife. Those are just too "pretty" to carry.

I was saving that AD for you since you are more of an AD guy, thought I'd trade it to you for a Meaner that I don't have yet :D

Yea, kinda sucks about the double edge in Pa, I saw someone else carry that at a show so I thought it'd be cool for me to do so and never thought twice about the double edge. Maybe I will at a show or something...

It's fun looking around for something nice, keeps me busy. I love the thrill of the hunt...

This is just till Jerry comes out with the folder, cause that would be so much easier then to make that an EDC. But it wouldn't hurt to have a nice little fixed blade, something a bit fancy for nice occasions. We will see, no huge rush.

Agreed!!It's all good!!

Dan, I love your knives and the dagger is great. I'm a lawyer and can talk my way out of any legal encounter. So just lay that knife on me brother and I'll hold it safe for you.

PS. Randucci, I'll let you know when I get the dagger and we can swap for the folders! Keep it on the down low.
