Have you ever bought two of the exact same knives? Why?

Nice! And thats why its good to see knives in size relation to other knives. I always thought the Southard was larger and that the new ZT was smaller. I wish knife companies would do more group shots with their family of knives so customers can get a easy visual reference regarding relative size. because honestly a large percentage of their customer base are buying their
products online without having the chance to handle the product in person before buying.
Sometimes a simple list of physical dimensions next to a pic of a single knife isn't adequate.
You wouldn't happen to have a pic of the Southard next to an Endura would you? I love the Southard but the price is well above what i usually spend AND i thought it was too big to carry so i've avoided buying one. But now i'm thinking maybe its not as huge as i thought. I bought a ZT 0560 last year only to realize it was bigger than i liked, and previously i was thinking i might have the same problem with the Southard. Now i'm not so sure, lol.
I like the Southard a lot, and pretty much want to carry it all the time. Buying multiples of them lets me still feel like I'm changing things up everyday by carrying a different one:

The only knife that I have the "exact same" knife are Vic SAKs. If I loose one, I have another ready for use.

I bought two Kershaw Keeks at the same time. Although one was for me and one was for a Christmas gift. Promptly bent the blade on mine so the other one will not be given as a gift. Any one who wants to see the bent blade is welcome at my shop.
Merry Christmas to all.

Guilty as charged! I definitely have, in fact I've bought four of one model because it was a limited edition and I absolutely loved the model.

However, looking back I plan on making two a maximum for a limited number of purchases in the future. There are just so many awesome knives out there and I'll certainly never have enough money to enjoy them all. Plus, customs don't come particularly cheap and getting duplicates is not realistic.

I have two Ontario RAT-1's but is was just a coincidence. Both are all black with a plain blade. I bought one for myself, and got one from a secret santa exchange I do on another forum. I keep one at the house for general use, one in my gear bag as a back up, and daily carry my ZT 0300.

If I like a knife (and I like LOTS of knives...) I usually buy 3 of each variant... If I really like a knife (Military, ZT0777, Paramilitary, ZT0600, Manix, TiLt, etc) then I buy 4 or 5 or 10...

my name is Mike... and I have a problem...

Yes, the ESEE Zancudo. I have the satin stainless folder in black, orange, digital camo, desert tan, coyote brown, od green, and foliage green. I don't have the red 'cause I don't like red.
