Have you ever found a knife?

I was a roofer for 34 years in Philadelphia.Found dozens of knives over the years kitchen and junk folders never anything worthwhile.

I recently lost Benchmade grip. I was dumping some stuff in a large dumpster bin at work and snagged the pocket clip it fell way down in the dumpster and now there is no possible way I can get to it ,too much heavy trash. it gets dumped on Monday so it's painful just sitting there watching knowing that its sitting at the bottom of the dumpster and there's nothing I can do to get it waiting for it to be thrown away forever.
I was throwing trash in a dumpster and I had a CRKT minimalist in my hand. I threw it in to dumpster. I jumped right in after it.

Once found a Mora walking through the woods too.
And as a kid i found a push dagger in an old abandoned house

I found this Wenger flyfisherman, in the trunk of a used car I bought about three years ago.

O.B.

Last summer I was walking my dog and in the gutted I found an old super rusty little POS pakistani throwing knife which was about as thin as a letter opener.
Not sure but I'll bet somebody's trash can fell over.

I don't really think I've found any other knives anywhere besides that.

I found a little buck knife half buried in the sand at myrtle beach and a frost cutlery folder on a construction job. Oh and a machete on a different job. They were all about as sharp as a butter knife.

Jup, a fake Victorinox under the seat of my Porsche 944. Can't get it out so it is still there. :D

I haven’t but my friend was working on renovating a condo that the owner abandoned. There was a bunch of the owner’s previous goods in a pile. In that pile along with some Versache sunglasses and a Louis Vuitton belt he found two SAKs.

One was a Forza Italia he gave to memarked knife that was dirty and very stiff. The other was a very rare and valuable Porsche Design Wenger. I told him to hang onto that porsche one as it was likely rare. He promptly lost it. They were selling used on ebay for like 260$

Found a Gerber Shortcut mini multitool when I was camping at the river. That was around 5-7 years ago, and it has been an EDC that whole time! I usually don't like Gerber, but this is one quality product!!!

Cleaner at work left a dirty and slightly corroded Endura SE. I felt bad so I just saved it til I saw the guy again and returned it.

I found an old case knife that used to have two blades in a pile of rubble after Hurricane Ivan when I was 8-9 :p
It still sits in a pile of rubble that is the rear cargo area of my Nissan :D

When I was 12 or so I found a Buck folder in the middle of the street. It had a rubber handle but the tip was broken off. I loved that knife because it was my only one---raised by my mom. I carried and used it for many years until I finally bought a Gerber. I know, I know. What have I become!?!

I also had a collection of bullets that I pryed out of roof's like two quart containers worth.Philly's a bad city.

After graduating college I spent some time working at an industrial park/storage facility. Lots of abandoned property. Fortunately I'm starting a much better job in my field this week. In a couple months I found a red class Benchmade, a vintage Barlow, a knockoff Spyderco, my Douk Douk I had lost a year prior, and an early Schrade multitool in mint condition.

I also found a delightfully awful chinese auto on the side of the road when I was in elementary school. Too young to be concerned, I still have it somewhere.

I read this thread in the vain attempt that I might read someone's post who found my KA-BAR full size USMC, my Cold Steel Recon Tanto and my old school Leatherman in one of the leather belt pouches that I think I left at a camp site while camping around 10 years ago. By the time I realized they were gone, it had been about a week....I'm still sick about it to this day.

No such luck :(

I found a nice little Kershaw folder in the water by a boat launching ramp about 18 years ago. Probably had been there for a long time, but was in nice condition. It was in a reservoir where the water level got very low in the summer and I happened to spot it.

A USMC issue aluminum-handled 'Boy Scout' type folder, a Buck 110 lightweight, and two nice wood chisels... not nearly enough to make up for all those I've lost, tho'.
