Hawaii Knife Life - daily use for work and play

Man, Great thread. Never had an inkling to go to Hawaii, but where your at and the pics you've shared I don't mind going now. I think just all the touristy stuff on the Islands is what turns me off, I just rather go off the beaten path.

Thanks for the kind words. I’m with you, I am not interested in much of the tourist offerings as well.

Do you find that the blade is slicier now? Less drag / resistance, or just mostly sexy eye candy?

Well I just stripped it about two hours ago, but I would think it’s safe to say the blade surface has less friction and and tiny bit thinner now the thick coating is gone.

If I was only going to use it as a woods tool I would have left the coating, but I want to use it to prep food, so just to be safe I took off the coating.

I think the BK10 is a great all around rig and I am seriously considering grabbing another.
