The Triad lock is another favoriteI'm with ya.
I prefer back lock or triad lock over any other type.
I don't need speed as much as I want security.

After selling my 79 -Bronco, I have been missing it like crazy.
I picked up the old 80 F150, and now I am feeling complete again.
Everyone needs an old truck.
Bombing around on dirt in these old rigs is good for the soul.

My 80 back in the day. Bought it new and the fuel mileage was 7-8mpg. When the warranty was up I pulled all the smog crap off, put headers and duel exhaust on it. The mpg went up to 17-18mpg!!

JB Weld should be standard issue along with WD-40, a spool of wire, electrical tape, and a half used quart of oil behind the seat.I had a ‘78 in high school. Had to carry water since the radiator had so many holes in it, and I rebuilt the water pump with JB Weld.
I think I only had 2 electrical fires under the dash, though. She's a beaut!
