Eldest son had some fun shoreline whipping this morning. Lost a few really big ones, kept a few nice ones, and threw back the rest.

These will make for some good eating.

I don't post here much, but I see Ulua and I'm thinking "Poke" and Baked are sounding tasty.

Sashimi on a bed of cabbage with Coleman's mustard mixed with soy for the choicest stuff, then heat for the rest. It is a great tasting fish!

These are 'Omilu which are a Trevally family (a bit smaller that Ulua). He hooked one but it snapped the 80# braid straight away!

The Hokulea sailing crew are visiting this week and re-supplying.

Did a bit of camping...these tools are used often.

Eldest daughter and son in law took a trip to Japan. Pretty amazing culture. Quiet, organized, clean, and respectful.

Aloha week festivals are this week, as well as the Molokai Hoe Men's outrigger canoe race.

Entered a couple of rigs in a impromptu car show.





Enjoyed live music, food, and the royal court. Been too many years since we had these around here due to lockdowns.

It's nice get back into the swing.

Didn't get a pic of the open water start, but here is the staging harbor.



Conditions were pretty good, but as the wind was low they were gonna have to dig the whole way.

This Recon Scout is fast becoming a go-to.

Small enough to cap coconuts and cut, heavy and just long enough to chop cut.
