Help, murder knife.

Balisongs. Figured it'd show with the part right after that saying "it's against the law to sell balisongs and stilettos", and the part about it being illegal for people under the age of 21 to own them. We've got plenty of swap meets, usually people who think their mass-produced kitchenware will sell for 5 times the value they gave for it once.
Sorry, forgot the smiley. :foot:

Here's an answer you might like. It's a custom knife built my a maker who is a 20 generation bladesmith orc who's dead now. It's made from a meteorite that came from the the planet Song-Bali. It has special powers to make an internet knife noob get OCD about it. The bladesmith made only two and I have the other one. It has deanimated many a mutant ninja and a few dozen score of zombies

ChineseBali2.jpg

I'm going to need to see a picture of that with some red and green lines before I can believe you.

Maybe this has already been answered, it's hard to focus on text while shaking my head so much. Why is the origin of manufacture at all relevant to this case? Was somebody stabbed with the knife (yes/no), did that person die (yes/no), Do they know who did it (yes/no). If this was a murder weapon the legality of owning such a knife is trivial. Do you think this is some kind of high end weapon with a serial number that will lead you to the owner ( considering the knife wasn't stolen)? This is not the case, it's a hunk of crap pot metal knife as many people have already said, not a gun.

How is this 5 pages long? Like someone already accurately put it, you'd have better luck if the murder weapon was a broken beer bottle.

I did some googling.http://www.kupindo.com/Nozevi-i-seciva/13755453_Leptir-noz#
Apart from the sizes of the knifes, the styles are relatively close to each other in appearance. "Stainless steel" stamping resemble each other, even where the sharpening of the blade begins are similar.
This knife can be manufactured in the Yugoslav, Serbia, Croatia, where there was war in the 90s, Yugoslav Wars.
It does not have to be made in China or Taiwan.

HAHAHAHAHA!!!

This guy doesn't get it. :D

first time a lol'd on this forum... your description was so in depth, its almost like you've been to Song-Bali or something :D

Man, as if being stabbed to death weren't bad enough, how much would it suck to be killed by some piece-of-crap gas station knife?

I'd like to think that it would take some kind of expensive, high-quality, heavy-duty knife to do me in.

After a lifetime of trying to acquire the highest quality cutlery that I possibly could, I'm sure that I would be pissed-off for all eternity if I were killed by some swapmeet piece of junk. ;)

On a serious note- it just goes to show how deadly even a cheap piece of junk can be. My sympathies for the victims and their families.

That's actually where I aquired my mutant ninja and zombie deanimating skills. I trained there for a few cycles under a veteran blind, one armed and one legged master chieftain warrior. ;)

But they are made in China, by the thousands.

Why during a war, when they would want to manufacture weapons, would any of those countries manufacture a knockoff of a chinese knock off knife? Seems you have a fictional narrative in your mind you wish was real. You are barking up the wrong tree potato.

I thought you were looking for information on the exact knife in the murder case photos. What possible relevance would this new so-called "information" have when it's not the same knife? You are right that that it's very similar, just shorter. 5 holes in the handles, not 7.

This knife can be manufactured in the Yugoslav, Serbia, Croatia, where there was war in the 90s, Yugoslav Wars.
It does not have to be made in China or Taiwan.

Where do you get the notion that this knife could have come from eastern Europe? I have never heard of a Yugoslavian balisong. You do (accidentally) bring up a good point though: the balisong used in the murder might have been made in Taiwan. China or Taiwan. But not Yugoslavia or any of the countries that came afterwards.

You are guessing, just like you said we were, except we were not guessing.

Sir it was made by Jared Allen Reignhardt. he is a german born maker who migrated and now lives in alberta canada. the blade marking indicate that it was made in 1986-88. The grind lines are the same distance front the tip as well as the distance of the plunge line from the handle. The lightening holes in the handle are tapered and are actually 3/8 of an in in diameter (interior)... And Mr. Remstam I happen to have its twin in my possession!

it's actually interesting to read through this entire thread and watch as the answers start out serious and then progressively get more sarcastic page by page as people realize this guy's never going to understand this knife cannot be traced.
