Did I see that right?

The winning bid on that puppy was just over $1800.00!!

Way to go fellas!

I just upgraded my membership! I hope it helps and I cannot wait to bid on some items!

Was the Busse the only one that has gone up for auction or is there ongoing sales I've missed?

Just curious.

Where are the links and or posts telling us when these auctions start?

Yes I would love to see the links. I upgraded as well. I know I don't post much but I do ask a lot of questions and you have all been very helpful. The least I can do is give back.

Sitting back and waiting for the links.

heeeeeeeellllllllooooooooooo out there-

any word yet on the rest of the auctions-or are they private affairs for the snooty knife collector only?lol

Any word on more auctions? we have been waiting and waiting... knives delivered but never put on the block... strange since they were donated to raise cash for the site....

Well, here's my theory......

Spark only had that one knife - and he donated it for the auctions. Now he has a bunch of really bitchen knives and other artful type things that people have sent him. Awesome!

That was his plan all along. Spark is just so selfish and ungenerous and he only started the forums so after a couple of years he could whine and complain and members would feel sorry for him and send him knives.

It worked!!!!

Good plan, Spark. :D

I promise not to bother you guys again, but I have no idea where else to go for help. My husband has a beautiful Dave Yellowhouse knife that he received as a safety award from Peabody Coal Company in 1988. It has a stationary blade and a gold horse about the middle of the handle. It is in a wooden box. I took it on myself to help him find information about it, but can find nothing. If anyone has any information I sure would appreciate it!!!!! THANKS--JR
