Question to the gallery. Opinion on thumb disks, and would you want this current build to have one?

I would vote yes on the thumb disk. For me , the 110 is too big for pocket carry, not a fan in this case of a clip.

A thumb disk is less intrusive than a thumb stud. But I usually pinch the blade to open or thumb it. So, for me neither. I'm easy. DM

emerson like thumb disk? or something bulkier like a cold steel one?

Same here for me. I don't like the thumb studs, but the disks are okay. So while I would prefer neither, the disk wouldn't be a deal breaker.

I would like to see a 110 with an Emerson style thumb disk. I would like to see it on a finger groove model too. That would provide enough space to easily get your thumb under it. Just a thought. I didn't go for the Lochsa 110 because it looked like the thumb stud was to close to the frame when closed.

understood, Sir. thanks for clarifying.

i'm in then. that appeals to me massively if it has the pocket clip of course.:)
Anything that would make the 110 more user friendly 👍 I do understand that there are a lot of collectors who just want lookers different scales and steels and that's all fine by me as well. The 110 is a purdy knife for sure . But I really would like one that would be a descent EDC to be used . Everybody I'am sure has enough 110s let's get one a little more modern . 🤓

Aluminum frame w/pocketclip, drop point, no notch w/thumbdisk, carbon fiber, S90V
ETA: oh yeah...And finger grooves

I'd EDC the heck out of that:D
