I'm eyeing that navy blue knife. It's looking really sweet. The finger groves are starting to grow on me. Never had a finger grooved knife before. i would pick up that knife

[QUOTE long pull Cooper instead of brass with carbon fibre scales in a triage lock

Isn't that the lock Cold Steel uses?

No I looked and they have the Tri-Ad lock.

Benchmade has the Triage Lock.

I didn't get your whole quote in my reply, they want to stick with Buck equipped knives. Just the given parameters. BTW welcome!!!

Please leave me alone. You stick your nose into my conversations. I have BLOCKED you so your inane comments don't cause interference with me conversing with other members.

Sorry Michael but you were commenting on mine.

We're good, I started another thread about lock test not to take away from this one.

My apologies guys. Never meant to get away from original thread.

Hubris.......:D

Okay, here are the final 2 winners. The Carbon Fiber variation is the majority winner of the original poll with the exception of the stonewash option. The blade will be satin finished, hollow grind. I've requested pricing from Buck on these 2, and depending on that answer, will determine what we go with! I know not everyone will be happy, but as far as I'm concerned, both these options look incredible and I'm very excited about this!!!

Although I would prefer no nail nick (I think the finger grooves provide ample space to grasp the blade for opening, and one less spot to collect blood/fat w/o the nick), I will definitely be after one of those two. Thanks for inviting us along on the process.

drop point, with or without thumb disk, black or blue carbon fiber, and i'm in. no one needs another clip point 110, despite what cantankerous geezers say.

oh, i agree with hardknocks, no nail nick. it looks too tacky

I agree as well. I'd make an executive decision to scrap the nail nick, but I think the backlash would be too great since it wouldn't have "followed the poll exactly". I need to think on it some. More input is welcome!

I can't remember(I have ICRS syndrome) ever seeing a drop point with a nail nick. Also, I believe that most that voted for the nail nick voted for a clip point blade.

If you positively, absolutely, must have the damn thing go as small as you can! Preston
