Crap!!! I forgot I have one of those too. Its a good gun and runs fairly decent, but if I was going to buy a semi-auto 22 handgun again it would be the Ruger 22/44 or a Browning Buckmark.

The Buckmark is a good pistol - I prefer it to the Ruger (also a good pistol). The Buckmark is another rendition of the High Standard action (which may itself be a rendering of something else). You could get a nice used High Standard too, for an all-steel target pistol. Go E. Hartford or Hamden.

I'd rather have a quality .22 conversion on my 1911 frame than a dedicated 1911 .22
