Here's A Sneak Peek At The "Team Gemini" 7 . . . . .

Five pages and SOMEONE hasn't asked if this blade will be avaliable in

BAMACLAY!

I can't wait for this one.

There are zero tension and compression forces along the centerline of a structural member, or in this case, knife blade. All fullers have been designed to reduce weight while not compromising linear strength.

I've read that fuller's do have a structural purpose but it really doesn't make that big of a difference until you get to sword lengths. True, it does take off weight, but it also gives it a bit more lateral strength. From what I've read, the way it works is, the profile of the blade is now like an I beam, instead of just flat. So, I guess something shaped like this H, if you imagine the pressure coming from the top or bottom of the H, it would be much harder to bend that something shaped like -

anyways that what I've read, anyone compared difference in fuller/ non-fuller before? I'd like to know for sure

I'm hoping mossgreen is an option on this one.

Sorry Mustardman I had to. I have nothing but respect for you. :D

When you get ready to release them just go ahead and add my name to the order list right away.

Kinda looks like a Busse improved USMC K-Bar, it even has BUSSE were the USMC logo would be...... ;)

No wait a minute where did I see that idea before?

We didn't have much choice on that one. . . . The fuller kinda pushed us off of the blade and left us with little choice. . . .

Snow's a comin' . . . . . . . I'm a drinkin'. . . . .

Jerry :D

.

I like it there... and if you ever release an LE, the other side at the same place would be perfect for the numbers. ;)

So...When will we get to handle this sweet knife?????? Did I mention Pleeeeeeeeeeeease?????:foot: ...See?? I'm starting to beg... ;):D:D

Very cool :thumbup: I'd get one of those!

I'd love a BWM LE first though!! :(:D

It doesn't matter where the mass is, as in an I beam, the centerline is the centerline and the forces are zero. Lateral forces are another case altogether.

It wouldn't look right without the choil. The finger guard would look too short. If the whole blade were only as wide as the ricasso it would work. But then it would be a narrow blade like the Glock field knive. I think it looks right the way it is.

I certainly wouldn't remove the choil to make it look better, my only purpose in doing so is functional. and, having photoshopped it to have such a mod, it looks very pretty without it.

I thought that some of you might like to take a look at an old school special military blade that we have been making quite a few of lately . . .

Don't expect to to see this anytime too soon. . . . but it will make it to the trough sometime this year!!!!!. . . . .:D:thumbup:

Check it out. . . . .

Let's Drink!!!!

I run into choil haters on every knife forum. I use knives all the time, and the choil has never been a problem for me.

I keep coming back and looking at this one and every time I do--I like it more. I'm will be getting some of these!

As long as it comes in either DC or Urban Shadow Camo with Black/Tan G10 I will be happy.

But I will buy a Sage with Tan Canvas also.

I don't think I would buy it even in B.C... that thing puts the UGH! in ugly. Yikes.

The handle is interesting though - I'm curious to see if it makes its way onto any other new designs. Hopefully without the double talon holed guards.

(also, I haven't commented much because I was moving from GA to CO so have been slightly busy. Only got internet access back in the hotel room today, and am trying to find a house to rent by the end of the week. Wee.)
