Hey Sal!!! When?? Knifeworks Ti/Carbon Fiber/S90V Military

I have two 204p millies and when the Ti Military recieves the CQI changes I am going to put the 204p blade and the Green G10 presentation side scale on the Ti frame lock. The S30V and Ti presentation scale will go on the green G10 liner lock. Should give me two pretty cool Franken-millies and the Green will look nice w the Ti

I am carrying at this moment a Franken-Millie made up with the RIL lock side from the original KW exclusive, the orange non-lock side scale from the orange S30V sprint, and an M390 blade from the KW (? - I think...) M390 exclusive (or was that a sprint...don't remember). Since it resulted in two other knives becoming incomplete, it's easily the most expensive Military I own, but it's possibly my most favorite knife, other than a Sebenza my boys gave me for Christmas a few years back.

you have no idea how jealous I am.......I would sell my left you know what to get my hands on an orange millie.

TX, I only have three orange Militaries. Otherwise, I'd give you one.

Wow, for some reason I thought you could not swap liner/frame lock blades.

man how sweet is that!

any pics of the other frankensteins made from the leftovers?

They must have fairly tight tolerances to swap out parts so easily. Looks good Jnewell!

Yes/no. It took three tries to find a blade that would lock up safely. And there are earlier (and probably later) generations of blades, and also of scales, that just won't bolt together. So you really have to know what you're working with and how to deal with the knife. :)

Nice. I've done something very similar with M390 & CF slab on the presentation side & RIL from the M4 sprint, still one of my very favorites franken-millies

I agree about the KW exclusive RIL being great and a great base for a Franken-Millie. I tried to sell an orange sprint and there were no takers at the price I wanted. I liked the orange scale and figured heck, why not?

Let's see is this a possible grail knife for me

Carbon fiber (check)
Titanium (check)
Super duper steel S90 (check)
Badass knife (check)

Yeah it's kinda a grail knife for me
