frosty is my friend who has cancer. he's down to his last 3 chemo treatments. hopefully he stays cancer free. i seen my other friend the other day when i went to get the knife weighed at the post office. she was doing great and getting her hair back.
 
Richard, I an sorry that she gave you such difficulty over buying a knife. I don't get why people think that they can insult a knife maker, buy lowballing him?

i have a feeling she was setting me up. usps without insurance is almost $8. and i wont ship without insurance. it was either her way or as i found out, not at all. its not like i didnt try to get the knife to her, she just made it impossible and i wasnt taking a loss.
 
I just lost seconds of my life watching that video in her link. Sad. Reminds me of someone who took a mail order marketing class, with audio tapes included.(sarcasim intended)
 
She seems a bit on the eccentric side. If she did send Frosty some funds though, at least something good came out of it.
 
i guess i could look at it this way, if someone gets the knife frosty will make out twice as well and then some.
 
one thing though, she told me she was on a lot of meds. how do you explain this meltdown? too many meds maybe? :D

What a pity. As you remember from my thread on the students who couldn't pay on time, ( and I remember your opinion!!:D) people get weird, or more weird when it comes to $$$. Lucky she only tortured you this once. Imagine what it could be like for those who get this on a daily basis. Yikes.:eek:
 
i heard that. i'm glad that she is gone so others dont have to deal with her either. i think she has multiple personalities from reading her emails. she turns from one kind of person to another in just one email.

Based on the crap I saw on her website, she sucks!! Phil is a fa better Professional writer and if he could bill out at $150 an hour and actually get paid he could gift me that Microtech Socom DA I dream often about..........wah, wah, wah:(:(

I see the reason for the move. I see the reason for the ban. I see the reason for Richard to post his say in the matter. Past that, the majority of posts in this thread are simply making fun.

Yes, she may be full of it on her pay. Who knows? On the subject of Richard's knife, she had some odd rules and the parties couldn't come to an agreement. The deal never happened, yet she still sent a large percentage of the money to the intended recipient who will appreciate it a lot more than most of us. To me that's at least worth not being beaten into the ground.

My 2 cents.
 
you can still appreciate where the moneys going and the good intentions of the person that sent it, but when you post something such as she has on a public forum, you gotta know your going to take some knocks.
