Hinderer Herd (Pets) Pics

I don't even own a hinderer.
I just wanna say that i have thoroughly enjoyed this entire thread and i wish i had a hinderer and the patience to take and post quality pics because my 4.5 year old Dane named Archie would fit right in here.
Animals make great companions.

N2K - Looking at poochie in that pic, I was waiting to hear him talk...... great looking little guy.

HuntBomb - You and Archie are Welcome to join in, No knife ownership requirement :)

Thank you.

He's the best behaved puppy I've ever experienced. Has only barked twice in the few days I've had him and only because he was startled. He's got a desire to be a lap dog, but I'll curb that and swap for a feet warmer.

Going to make on fine little friend, no doubts.

Here is Xena, My 17 year old Dachshund. She doesn't have much time left but she will be babied until it is her time. Her companion of 16 years (both rescued from two seperate humane societies in 1997) was put down April 12 of last year.

My Favorite Twilight Zone episode of all time is where the Man will not enter the gates of Heaven until he is assured his coon dog will be welcomed as well.
Basically (St. Peter) tells him, " Of Course, it wouldn't be Heaven without our beloved animals"
Gets me every time.

They say there is a resemblance between your pet and yourself, you know I definitely can see it!

You are a braver soul than I but I don't think Lori looks anything like her dogs...her dogs wish they looked as good as her.

:)

(no offense intended to your dogs Lori)

You are right 100 % RDA about Lori. Rick not looking too shabby at ECCKS either, he says he has been training pretty hard and dropped some weight, looked quite lean and mean!

I won't make that mistake twice! Ouch!

That picture would make a great screen saver, do,it in video and I'm sure watching it can be therapeutic!

Posted Ellie's pic when was much younger but she celebrates her 5 month birthday this week. She brings much joy to our household.

Here's our brand new pooch. Just got him this 2 days ago. Yes, it is the uber-manly Yorkie-Poo breed! LOL. I know, I know... but dayum he is so freakin' cute I can't resist lovin' the little dude! :)

Before getting him we went back and forth with names... my 9yr old son and I both wanted to name him "Spanto" (I swear it's true!) but my wife just wouldn't have it! Oh well....

Anyway, with "Spanto" out we decided instead on "Tugger McLovin" (which seems to fit his personality perfectly). So here he is with other newest member of our family, my new (as of yesterday) XM-18 3.5" Spanto Flipper (scale is blue-black, but looks black in this pic for some reason). And yes, he is chewing on my pinky!

Whoa Spanto would be an AWSOME name! Don't feel self conscious about the cutesy dog.....I had two German shepherds, before my first wife brought home a pug....I said " it's too small take it back!, the pig will kill it ( the pig is another story).." Anyhow that dog ended up being the best friend I've ever had, and my heart still has a hole in it from when he took his last breath in my arms at the vet 15 years later.... Don't get me wrong my shepherds were the most loyal and nobel beings I've ever known, but that pug got my sole, his personality was bigger than a Percheron! Enjoy the yorkiepoo gizmo, he looks like he has good taste in XM18's....

Not even 10 weeks old and already knows and obeys several verbal and non-verbal commands. All without treats as bribes..nothing but positive reinforcement and his natural disposition.

"Sit" was one of the first...
