Everything here is good, how about you? I know I've been away for a while, I quess between work, lots of time on the delta with the boat, and building new AR's I haven't spent much time with my knife collection, but believe me, I'm back in the groove again with four new knife purchases this month.

Things have been good, works finally slowing down a bit, kid won’t stop growing. And I’ve finally got my knife collection figured out for the most part :D It’s good to see you around again!
 
We’ll i said I was going to wait around a week and didn’t make it.
But I’m sure glad I didn’t wait because this micarta scale really feels good. Looks beautiful to and while I had it apart I put some of favorite secret sauce on it after I cleaned her all up and she’s smooth as butter.

That scale looks so good I used some of my DLT points and ordered a green one.

I'd rock that filler tab backwards actually, I like that subtle logo instead of the huge 2019 billboard. just my opinion. I love that stonewash slicer though!! It's nice!

I meant to tell you, this G10 scale that came on this Skinny XM-18 was way smoother than my sheepsfoot. The sheepsfoot was super sharp on all edges, this one was very soft all around I must have gotten an unfinished scale.

That’s good to hear and I bet your probably right and the Sheepsfoot was just a bad scale missing the the last stages on the assembly line.
 
IDK if it's been answered already, but... Do the 3.5 skinny's accept pre-triway (gen 4) scales?

And has anyone tried putting the skinny blade and standoffs into a regular frame?

Not 100% sure since I haven't done it but the regular xm-18 3.5 scale will fit on a 3.5 skinny, it's just going to be thicker. I don't see any reason why the generation would change anything other than bearings on the frame, the dimensions are the same.

The skinny standoffs, skinny specific nut and 3" Pivot make the skinny, (skinny scale too) I'm sure everything else is standard.

Just added a Holey Antiqued Clip to my Skinny.
Really like the contrast and character I think really compliments the natural micarta scale to.
