Anyone trim down the screw nut from a standard 3.5" to fit a skinny?
I did last weekend, got two just right and took a little too much off the third one. Now I’m just going to wait for some skinny specific black scale screw nuts.

So being my first hinderer and all I'm kind of curious why the scale is flush with lockbar. is there a reason it isn't offset a little to get a better purchase on the lock bar release? I want to grind it down so I don't have to fully insert my thumb in the lock bar to release but can just press down like all of my other knives. Anyone have any input as to why this is.... and has anyone else modified this? it appears there's space to grind down the scale, so it must be an option.
