These look awsome...I haven't had the chance to hold or see a BIG finish up close....is it like a bead blasted finish or more of a satin just not polished up as high...on the fence between the satin or a BIG finish on this one

I think I’ll be in for a satin/Black g10. The Hog Badger looks like a well balanced do it all design. Can’t think of many things that it won’t excel at.
 
Well..... darn.

I'm pretty excited about this. My first Busse was a SOB CG, and it was a great knife. I always wished the blade was a bit longer and the handle swell a bit less pronounced. Well, looks like that knife is here. I sold off all my BusseKin a while back because I needed funds, but it's feeling like I'm gonna back in the pack with this one.

I really appreciate all the options also. Don't know if I'll go with CG or BG.

I've been needing a bigger fixed blade for camp and skinning purposes... I think I've found it.
 
So I'm in for a Big DC finish version. However, I am torn between G10 and Micarta. Can anyone tell me why they like one versus the other? I need help deciding!!
 
Nice looking blade but gonna have to pass on this one. The wife gave me permission to buy a new Filson Sportsman Utility bag....can't have both at the moment.
 
I would Get the knife. You can buy a woods purse anytime. The knife will only be on sale for a few days. They have been selling that bag for fifty years. ;)
