DC is excellent because you can buy a bead blast cabinet for $150 at harbor freight and refinish any time you want easily. A few passes in the cabinet and your knife looks like new.

So I saved the pic and blew it up until the length matched the stated length and it is a hair over 1 5/8" wide. Pretty wide.

1 green / black g10 with Satin finish
1 maroon micarta with Big DC finish

I checked the factory listings for the SOB blade width:
- SOB satin - approx. 1.5"
- SOB CG - approx. 1.375"

Jerry or Garth, A quick answer from either of you with the actual HOG Badger blade width would help clear up the confusion. Thanks!

I love this blade, but need to sleep on the combo lol do I go my usual Satin/Black Canvas or DC ant Tan and Black G10 ? That stick pic looks great.
Will have to order in the morning, i miss good old days, than Id get both lol

After much waffling, I’m in with bruiser and midnight blue. I decided I want this one coated, and I’ve been waiting for an excuse to try something in midnight blue. I think it’ll look great with the bruiser. Smooth G10 seems like it’ll be very nice on the palms.

what type of media and what grit do you use?

The fine glass beads, which I think are something in the 220 to 320 grit range. I use them at about 100 psi. If you want to remove coatings you need 80 grit about 120 psi.
