haha. That's good.

My point being that no matter what we believe in or don't believe in, every one of us is a hypocrite in some small fashion or manner. We pick and choose the battles we want to fight and simply let others go, be it for self-preservation or otherwise. There is nothing wrong with this, I absolutely respect the man's right to do as he pleases.

But he wasn't charged he chased them down with his knife, he decided to go after them in this way. Now if he was charged by the hogs and defended himself with his Junglas (or what ever knife) and killed them then I would be right there giving him a slap on the back and the admiration that would be deserved of such an ordeal.

For the record, if I was anywhere and some animal, animals, person or people attacked me without provocation, if in fear of my safety, I would take out my Junglas and defend myself.

If Andrew and I were walking around somewhere and we were attacked by wild hogs and he mutilated them with his Junglas, I would have congratulated him and thanked him for saving my life and bought him the whole range of ESEE products in appreciation.

If I were in the much imagined survival situation and I had to have something to eat, and I had a Junglas, I would kill with it in order to survive.

And I will leave it at that.

Here's one for you and I know that our friend will have a hard time belieiving this. I had this little nusiance mouse in my house. Instead of killing it I made a trap out of a shoe box and pencil cut in half with bait in between. Caught him 3 times and hauled him to the woods and dropped him out. After the third time, I siad f**k it and slid a couple of alcohol pads under the shoe box and suffcoated the little bastard. He never came back.

I would've hacked it with a Junglas. Twice. My pair ain't big or brass enough to try it with a hog, but I think I could handle a mouse.

Well, to satisfy the "methods" second-guessers here, I guess Andrew could have used something like this rancher uses to dispatch the pests. You could argue that it would have been more humane than a Junglas -

I particularly like the Barrett

No you aren't.
You're exposing more people to the knives, which will likely fuel their purchase of more "evil" knives.
Guess you didn't think it through all the way!;)

LOL, I was thinking that myself. And damn i wish i was on here earlier i would have bought that Junglas and hacked away at something.... I need a Junglas!

WOW! This topic exploded quickly!

I think all who are against the hunting of these animals need to watch the "Pig Bomb" show that ran on the Discovery Channel. It reviews the fact that these animals have infiltrated a vast portion of the US and are destroying farm land, killing other animals and endangering humans. There is growing concern that someone has introduced Russian Boars into the wild population which are larger and much more aggressive than the boars that everyone is used to (RE: Africanized Bees).

These animals have gone beyond the simple nuisance stage. We have a family member with a farm in south Alabama that is trying to get rid of these animals but they are having difficulty hunting them faster than they breed.

The end result of any animal kill is not pretty. Animals don't die nice, neat deaths regardless of what Disney shows (Lion king after being trampled). It is bloody, violent and nasty! And in this case, necessary!

If anyone else would like to sell their ESEE Products, please let me know.:D

Happy Hunting!

I see you're from Alabama. There is a dealer of ours (Rocking R) down in South Alabama that does frequent hog hunts using nothing but a knife. From my understanding it's a pretty popular sport nowadays.

Dam I thought I caught flack for chopping down an elm when I first got my Junglas
with out putting a disclaimer that the trees were about to be cleared out.
way to go Andrew! dominion power!!!!
the rancher with the piglet in his mouth is my new wallpaper.

I've killed deer before with a knife. The initial blow came from our Malibu but it wasn't enough to quick-kill the deer.I stabbed it in the heart and ended things quicker for the deer.(I used an EK #4 BTW)

I would have gone a different rout personally than hack the Hogs but then again I wasn't there in the moment making that decision. He was.He made it out with all his limbs and digits intact. For that i applaud him.It took some stones to go on the offensive against an animal like a pig with just a knife.
I just hope our colder climate up here in Canada keep them down south.Although I have heard of an isolated case in Alberta where some guy was farming them and let em loose.Hopefully the -40 winter out there Junglased them for us.

I used to kill groundhogs in the backyard with a baseball bat. We had a small field in the back so the little devils would wander far away from their hole and I was either fast enough to catch them or if you get between them and their hole, they'll just crouch in the grass and try to hide. Got quite a few of them this way and it was pretty fun trying to get them.

I guess this kinda relates?

If the winter doesn't get 'em, your llama will.

I wish I'd seen the sale thread before hand I'd purchased all and gave away on the forum......
anyways I got a good laugh from this whole thread !

I want to see a guy try to hack a boar apart with a knife only to get gored and bleed to death while the pig gets away.

I cheer when I watch these morons get speared/gored/killed during the running of the bulls.

But hey, that's just my opinion.

That is part of the problem if the Russian Boars are breeding with the feral population here in North America. The Russian Boars live in Siberia....not sure any cold will kill them!

Cheers!

You guys all fell into the trap !!! l2lku2 was just trying to build up his ESEE post numbers to get an RP #

This really is crazy. Truth is I support correct views. Everyone has the right to have an opinion, GOD BLESS AMERICA. But, there is right and wrong in this world. A few things are even black and white.

ESEE makes good knives and there isn't anything wrong with killing hogs. Flame me or whatever; to hell to being politically correct.
