HOGS/Strider?

never owned a strider, probably never will. They look cool, but i dont have a need for such a heavy duty folder--thats what my fixed blades are for. Ill stick with my seb

I really don't understand what people are using their folders for that a Sebenza could not master??? Personally I feel the Sebenza is a perfectly designed knife. They have never come close to letting me down and I have been using them for a few years now. This is not meant to stir the pot...just my opinion.:)

The same stuff I would use a Busse for that a Rat 7 could not master. I liked my Sebenza when i owned it, but as a do it all folder the SnG or my XM was just "all around" better. By the way, I live in a place where EDC'ing a fixed blade will get you a felony charge, so thats out for me.

PS: Gorgeous Sheath by the way. :D

Yeah, Chuck of Chuddy Bear Leather knows how to do it.

I am sure you have a reason:) I guess I should have stated something more along the lines of, "I do nothing with a folder that a Sebenza can't master":)

I went through the TANK folder thing. Now when I get the urge for one I will throw a slipjoint in my pocket just to remind myself I usually don't even need the Sebenza.

For me the design and perfection of the Sebenza does it!

It is all personal I am sure:thumbup:

BTW, if I carried a fixed blade to work I am pretty sure I would get a few "funny looks"....

Whatever works for you:D

Last family party we had, I needed to dig a quick hole for a bamboo tiki torch, and used my XM to get about 6 inches down into the ground (Florida's notorious for coral-thick soil and ground). I wouldn't have done that with the Sebbie I just sold.

I would have sharpend the end of the bamboo and stuck it right in:D:foot:

We have soft ground around here.

I have one, it's not bad. Carry it at work when I don't mind it getting used hard. I also have a Sebenza, which I prefer for normal day carry. My XM-18, its very nice, but I had the screws come out the clip came off, so I don't carry it any more, kind of ruined it for me. I also have a Begg MIG (Military Issue Glimpse), which is a great flipper, but just huge in the pocket/hand. I have a Lambert on order, looking forward to it. :)

Also, Strider gives 20% discount to military, very much apprecaited. I think that's the highest I've ever gotten.

I had a Seb and a HD-7 and believe it or not, I like the Liner Lock better than the FL.

If this makes you feel better... I am holding out for the BF.
Busse Folder. ;)
