How isnthe grip. I havebthe voltixedc cf scales for the drop bear and the are the slippery smooth variety. They look good, but grip is seriously lacking. I greatly prefer texture like on unlockedcomposite scales.

It's not smooth and shiny as if clear coated, but not rough like what I'd get from peel-ply G-10. I'm trying to figure out how to describe it. It's like sanded smooth wood without varnish or lacquer, where it has some grip but it's smooth.

Nothing like the CF and G-10 laminate scales on some Taiwan Spydeo or the Ontario RAT model 1 in carbon fiber, or the Demo AD 20.5 in carbon fiber. But, also not like the rough fluted carbon fiber on a Spyderco Native 5 in S90V (or the rough CF from my Hogue Ritter Mini RSK in textured CF and Magnacut). It's in between.

I need to get these installed sooner than later.
