Stumbled across this deal when it was referenced in another sub hours ago, and then had a blast going through everyone's pics from the end of '16.
This will be my intro to Busse and kin, having only handled some pieces at my local stabbery.

Haha, I think I'm going to make it. Just scored a Scrapmax 460 on the Exchange, which almost felt like a reward for the discipline.

The CS stuff is amazing, but I'm focused on users at this point, so (if I was in) any I got would probably just be flipped. Will still be looking for pics and watching the exchange when the bags drop though.

If there's another grab bag offer at the end of part 2, THAT will be the one I can't pass up. :D

I wouldnt put it past a hog to get the bag xrayed before moving it on. Thats what I'd do anyway :)

I'm right there with you. This will be my introduction, as well. Haven't even seen one in person. Had to double down on the big bags after reading through the very same thread, and a few others. Quite a few of those multiple bag orders had very desirable blades.
 
I'm already checking the site/email every 8 minutes looking for people to post shipping notices. I can't fathom how crazy obsessive it will become when they actually start..

ETA: I had to change my shipping address to my work due to the uncertainty of where I will be in these next few weeks. I can't wait for those looks :eek::eek:

Has anyone done the math on these and seen that the $350 & $800 valuations are the average or minimum value within said box.

This was probably covered in the last time around, but just for informational purposes.

Kind of late to the discussion, but the importance of health insurance can't be overstated. Sure, you probably don't often need it, like really need it, but oh man, when you do, it's a godsend. Example, I had a medical emergeny back in April, sort of sneaked up on me, and my total hospital bill was $166,659 (not including the bevy of specialists all taking their cut). That's not a typo. A hundred and sixty six grand. My out of pocket was only $1,000. I shudder at the thought of being in debt up to my eyeballs forever had I not had insurance. You know what they say; better to have and not need, an ounce of prevention, blah blah...
 
They're gone from the Busse site now, and not a moment too soon. I was seriously considering ordering another two $500 bags.
