I'll take some tomorrow. The realtor said it was in great shape, we'll see. It's just a tiny, one room micro cabin with a sleeping loft. All we need or want though. If I think it's in decent shape, I'm gonna throw a number at him tomorrow, see what the seller thinks. I'm trying to guess what the seller wants by his asking price. They always ask more, and expect people to talk them down. I'm not going to be insulting, but of course I'm gonna low ball by a bit. You never know what people are willing to take.
 
Can't wait to see cabin pics, Warrior. One day I'd love to go all out for a small cabin like the one you're talking about. I want to live hermit like.

Maybe in 15 years when my son becomes a man and I no longer have child support to contend with.

My son and I talked about owning a micro cabin for years. This will go to him, if I get it. Not sure if I want to have power ran to it or not. Make it worth more perhaps, but to me, going to a cabin is to get away from all that crap.

Solar power! Its awesome! Do a little research, you can find panels for cheep. What used to cost 2-3k a few years ago you can now find at wholesalers for $500.

I have looked into it before, but it's still power, haha. I don't want to be tempted by having a tv there, etc. The idea is to get away from it all. I doubt it even gets cell service there, on the side of a hill, in a river valley.
 
You don't have to have a big system ;) just enough stored in a good sized battery in the case of emergency or to jump the car . God forbid it dies on ya after being parked for a weeks vacation up there.

Ok, I checked, and the two sheaths I have is for a BK9. Sorry spike, I thought at least one of them was for a BK7. If you still want one I'll send it to you for free, but they are both 2 inches longer than you need.
 
hit a decent medium-rare with the other half of the NY strip tonight. did the kale as salad with cubed cheddar instead, which was better.

spike, did you need a BK-7 sheath? I think I have one laying around. May not be brand spankin' new but not damaged.

Part of me wants this snake to be dead when I find him because I want to cook and eat a snake but don't see that happening.

OK. The trap is just a minnow trap from Walmart baited with chicken blood catfish bait. I'll take some pic's if it actually works.
I don't condone killing anything that doesn't need killing.
From what I could tell, it is just a black rat snake. It is however in my fricken wall. Bad place to call home if your a snake.

Spike, just pm me your address and I'll send you what I got.

Really hot out right now but cooling down so we shall se what comes of it in the morning.

Who votes for cooking snake while wearing a watermelon bikini?

I understand man. In all honesty, if I get it, I'll probably just have power ran to it, since it's so close anywhos.
