I wish i could hand deliver it for you... take all the winter post everyone made about how cold it was and how much snow they had and then reverse it and that is our weather now. I walked outside to grab a paper out of my truck and I am dripping sweat, maybe 30 seconds and that's all it took.. I bet it is nice and cool in your neck of the woods ;)
 
It was 97°F here earlier. Now its 95°F.

Checked a couple places, looks like 97, feels like 99.. My un-calibrated gauge says 103. Not as hot as I thought it was...All in all it has been pretty mild this year so far, we have usually had a few days in the official 100's by now and I don't think we have had any this year..

Lol, common misconception. We are technically on the same parallel as northern California. The current temperature is 82.6F with the humidity it is 93.2F. Cooler then where you are... but not by much lol.

My ludicrously large AC unit has my house sitting at 72F :D feel free to hand deliver it and stay in the cool with me!

81° right now, was 91° yesterday, and tomorrows high is 69°, haha. Crazy ass weather.

Which would be great if there was anything there but nothing as far as the eye can see. $400K? Fuggetaboutit. There's got to be something else going on there that we're not seeing. I can get 5-100 secluded, wooded acres in East TN with a house on it for 1/3, maybe 1/4 of that price; it mainly depends on how close to a job center you want to be. With nothing even resembling the truly awful winters in SD. (obviously we're not talking super nice houses in that price range, but you get the idea)

It's actually about 15-20 minutes from the mountains... It's pretty close. Down by Custer on 18. (I think that's the right highway, it's been a while since I looked now)

If you can't walk for 30 seconds without sweating a ton, you might want to try hitting the treadmill, work that stamina up!
 
Custer Park is a beautiful place. Have been there a few times. Buffalo are cool. Big too. Imagine what it could do to the Ford ranger, haha.:

I could see myself living in the Black Hills. Freaking beautiful place. Not sure if I can afford to buy a town, though.:D

It is a beautiful place. Have you ever been to Breezy Point, the little park behind Mt. Rushmore? Crazy beautiful back there.
 
I think I should've went with the SOE micro wallet instead. The full size takes up too much real estate on my ass.
 
Congrats on getting the cabin, Warrior. That's awesome. Definitely buy yourself a lotto ticket with all that newfound luck and awesomeness.
