Perhaps I should rephrase. Has anyone ever been in a tent, in the winter, that had a wood burning stove inside it?

I used to have an old texsport tent way back when and it had a big half moon floor zipper and chimney tube for inside heating. I tried it once for fun and filled the tent with smoke, but I didn't burn the tent which was my main worry.. Truth be told, there is no reason for it down here so I have never tried for real. You figure out how to run central air in a tent and I am all ears ;)

Haha, get a battery powered fan, and run it over some ice cubes in your cooler, I guess. :D I want to do some winter camping, and ice fishing. I love winter.

As best I can tell, they call it a travel trailer. But, not having one of those I have toyed with the idea of putting one of those portable room air conditioners in a tent and cutting the necessary flaps. I also have wondered if it would be possible to make a decent quick shelter out of insulation board to keep the cool in. In lieu of that we just try and drive to where it is cool enough to camp in the summer.

Want more beans Mr. Taggert?.......... "I think you boys have had enough!"

Looks like the place I used to work at may want me to come back. Sucks, but, better than no income. ;)

Not a tent, but I have been inside an A-frame house, in the winter, that had wood burning stove inside it. It was pretty comfortable. Does that help?

:D

Good luck with the job, btw.

I can't let a Blazing Saddles quote go unrecognized.
