How hard are the Cam2s to get hold of? I really dig that one I saw modded on here awhile back.....but I would need the solid handled 2 to do that mod, and IIRC the 1st gen KaBar 2s are solid tang as well?

That knife has been in my brain ever since I saw it.

Thanks for the tip. I have them soaking in vinegar right now, but if that doesn't work I'll try the listerine. I'm going to follow the vinegar with another good scrub and a run through the dishwasher on sanitize.

Clich, you can't go wrong with a Backwoods knife, they are great. The other two are pretty nice too, and offer the chance to try out a couple different steels. I think I like the Oneil knife better out of the two.

Yup not mine. The inquiry about accepting payment Thursday with an ill take it contigent on that didn't count. Don't blame him. Oh well life goes on.

thanks for the tips, I will have to try that listerine method, Never heard of that. I threw away any plastic bottles years ago.
Hunting for another ccw, narrowed down to a walther pps and an xd compact. Ppq is too big to conceal when its hot as hell out.
 
Awhile back I won a very generous contest from CrimsonFalcon, a knife of his own make/design. It arrived Friday, been a lil busy so I just now got pics and whatnot. I really like it, handy size and very very comfy in the hand. A couple quick pics, I will post up a review thread later

I'm really liking the XD sub compact. I might still pick up something thinner, like the Beretta Nano or S&W Shield for summer, though.
