I found it online awhile back, it's only rated to 250 pounds anyways. This is just a Tuesday rant about the availability of certain products in only certain stores. Drives me nuts LOL

I am thinking about ordering the Stanley cookset, I will check waldarts along the way to Ethan's, and if I aint got one when I get back I will order it. That cookset looks great for 15$

ENO Doublenest- 500lb rating.

Moose

the doublenest is sweet....played with my buddies last week...the thing will swallow you

I saw this before I saw Moosez post, the mental image looked so wrong until I realized you were talking about a hammock!

snark!! hey you hammock peoples going to the gathering, will you get some pics for me? I'd love to see as many set ups as possible before I pick one out for myself :) Gracias!!

If you have Target in your area you might find it there. I saw them at several targets near me. I have some USGI canteen cups I like so I didn't get one but I did get this neat Stanley canteen. Opens in the middle for cleaning or stuffing full of ice and fits perfect in the side pouch on my backpack.

You said that's from Target? Hmmm, I've got a target gift card that I might use for that, the one I have is just Stainless Steel, but it works. Still looking for something bigger for out at camp though, and that might be it.

Yeah, its designed to hold carbonated beverages for some reason. I like how easy it is to fill with ice.

ok truck is in the shop and being fixed. My blade and gear sale yielded more than needed thanks to a good friend in the industry. So i wanna treat myself for the sacrifice with a nice custom. advice?

do i go with a bill akers, always great stuff and at an affordable price

Or with an o'neil, much more expensive but i hear his stuff is flawless and ive never owned a knife like this

I like that Stanley, I have a somewhat similar Stanley bottle I got awhile back, but its not insulated. Nearest Target from here is prolly 2 hours or more

ETA I just checked, nearest one is ~100 miles from me lol

Clich, I've been itching to pull the trigger on Bill's knife all day. That's a great looking blade, but I'm a sucker for black micarta w/red liners.

the red liners are whats holding me back. Im not a fan of flashy colors. white, black, or natural. Any flashy stufff turns me off but thats a great price that i can live with

I would pick the Backwoods from that list...I love that particular knife, and I know he does nice work personally, not saying the other 2 dont.

The other 2 aint my cup of tea anyways

Clich, I had a Backwoods custom for a little over a year before I sold it. Excellent knives. Laser sharp. Wicked wood scales too...My vote is for Bill.

ETA: Just noticed the knife in your link has micarta...which is kinda rare for him. My voted still stays with Bill.

LOL! Dubz just posted in the patch thread thinking it was the Chat thread.....

old age is creepin up ya on ya man! ;)

Does it come with the tempest?
Cool air pistol, lousy trigger and weak attachment mechanism for the front of the mainspring housing.

The akers looks nice, that's something I would get.

Jarod had the tasker, or still has it, IIRC. might wanna get in touch with him.

And dammit, I really want that BK-15. It's just too expensive for me right now.
