Thanks all for the good words. Glad you're liking it, Thrill.

That one is made from Aldo's 1095, 3/16" thick at the spine, blade is 3.5" long, high flat ground, bocote handles with steel and homemade mosaic pins. I'll be putting up a few more similar ones in various thicknesses in my sale thread once I get my grinder repaired. Thrill, let me know when you get a sheath made up for it. I'll be interested to see what you come up with.

Here's the one I made for my own carry. Really happy with how the sheath came out. Still need to dye it though.

I went with chocolate brown kydex for it, looks nice against the bocote. I dont really have a pic of it in sheath, lol

(the sheath aint finished, I haven't polished it yet, that's why the mouth looks so bad LOL)
 
Very nice Thrill. I really like the blade shape, nice grain in that wood also. Kydex is looking good too, the brown complements the knife nicely.
 
Hey jeez people, that BK16 looks like a sweet knife! Why didn't anyone tell me?

Sucks to be buried in a pile of schoolwork. Um, okay, carry on :D

i got a little drunk on a school night talking to some losers in a becker chat....i may have you trumped.

i wasn't drunk enough to have anything that was throbbing end up in my jaw though....

Had a visit to the dentist night before last. Had a molar pulled that has been broken for about 3 years. We're going to lose our super-awesome insurance in a couple months with the new contract, so I'm getting everything that needs fixed done while it's still basically free. For the fun of it, I opted for a valium before the yank. IMO, it's an overrated drug.
 
What do you gun nuts think? Beretta Nano or Kahr CM9 for a smaller summer CCW gun? I'm tearing myself up between the two. If the Springfield XDS would just hit the shelves, it'd be a no-brainer for me, but I'm going to have to wait until at least fall to find one of those in-stock, most likely.

Anyway, I like the feel of both. They're both way more accurate than their competitors in my hands (Keltec, Diamondback, Ruger LC9). I give the Beretta the nod on looks, which for whatever reason is still important to me. I just can't decide which way to go yet.
