Nice idea for displaying the Mosin! I finally picked one up. Figured I better, before the supply goes dry.

I got a couple ex-dragoon 91/30s and a m44. I want a few more Mosins one of these days.

got me that 91/30 and M39; this last is a GOOD one finnish - stupid accurate (fun fact, the bayonet for these costs MORE than the gun) :> a M44 might be nice someday, but them's super short and LOUD... there's a 1965 made M39 i wouldn't mind - pristine "show piece" grade. mmm. that said... i have enough too.

i somehow doubt they'll ever go dry. people have closets full. esp GOOD ones. they will sell off for one reason or another (whee estate sales by stupid people), and will be available until the heat death of the universe.

now, the ammo? oh that too. 10s of millions of spam cans buried around the world :)
 
I need to get one (or three) of those. I might hold off on new blades for a bit. I kinda want to increase my firearms collection...
 
I'm out all, time for this "insomniac" to try and sleep. (I don't claim to actually have insomnia, just a really hard time getting to sleep....)
 
OK, all packed up, car is loaded. I hope I didnt forget nothin, but Im sure I will, at least one item...thats how it goes.

Absolutely, drive safely everyone! Share pics of the gathering, so all of us that can't make it can enjoy.

I'm taking my son or to shoot his 22 rifle this weekend. He got out as a gift this spring and the weather finally looks good enough for the weekend that we can go blast some targets. So far I have some Visi-chalks, gallon and 2 liter bottles and peeps to set up as targets. Anyone have any other fun target ideas for a 6 year old to shoot?

Attention everyone this is my 1000th post! Yay! Sorry but no 1000th post GAW or contest but 2000 or 3000 probably and given the amount of things I post per day 2000 isn’t far off…As for a prize? How do you guys/girls feel about a stripped BK-11 with black micarta and red liners or one of the drop point Eskabars with tigerstripe-G-10? I’ll start collecting my spare change and that’ll be put toward the prize (majority wins here so vote for what you want please) ;)…Thanks to everyone on this forum for sharing their knowledge and other cool shit to make this the best forum on WWW land there is.

If anyone is ever in Aus hit me up, we’ll get drunk and grind up some Beckers haha.
