Have to wake up this thread every year!! Too many nice knives to let it languish!!
Horn is such beautiful stuff for handles, but must be treated and installed well!!

I've had a couple of these forum knives, one dark and one light. The light colored one, with a nod towards Clint Eastwood, I call "Blondie."

All of the BF2020 knives I've seen so far seem to have well-chosen Horn for the handles!! Gotta hand it to those makers from Maniago!!

Bionda, is Blondie in Italian!! (be-yond-uh)! Of course I bought a spare - just in case!!

The lanyard is pigskin, with a carved bone bead!
I am a die-hard traditionalist, but these modernish Italian beauties have won me over!!

You can't really see it but mine have huge texture, plus they're slightly concave, and the curve follows the shape of the frame. Whoever cut them was an artist.

Horn handles!! Top two are from A.Wright in better days; a Lambsfoot, and an Ettrick!! Third is a W.Saynor pruner, and the fourth is a Joseph Rodgers pruner!!
All have feather-cut horn for exhibition or display!!

Often a cutler will put the fancier piece of horn on the Mark side, but this knife has a nice ghostly feather on the Pile side also!!
