I think I'm going to need one of ob1's flaming pigs when I visit Fug in Chicago (too bad it couldn't be attached to a gun). Chicago is fighting against Illinois having concealed carry in a big way. The vote should be soon. Keep your fingers crossed.

BTW, very nice ob1, but Illinois does not allow SBRs either. When California has more liberal gun laws than your state you are in trouble.

Isnt that some shit
its not what the "people" of chicago want,
its what the owners of chicago want.
total bs and I can wait to get the hell outta kook county

I looked over San Francisco and I don't agree with that crime map. The shittiest parts of town are showing up safest and a lot of area is not even reported from the looks of if. The Presidio area for example is federal land so I am sure they are not reporting on that map either. But Hunter's Point is showing up as a safer area and it is far from that.

BBT I am going with a AR pistol lower so that I can get around the SBR red tape. Only way to do it legally without the stamp apparently. I have checked with the gun store and they say it is perfectly legal and they are willing to sell it to me. Comes in in a few days and my 10 day is done already. Should be a fun build once I figure out the other components. Thinking of going with a full Noveske upper but I am on a budget.

ob1, there are people a lot more knowledgable here than me, but I don't think you will be able to put a stock on it and will have to use a pistol buffer tube to keep it legal.

That's not a sbr. Its a pistol. And if you are caught with it with a stock on it. You get a nice felon tag. And some pound me in the ass prison. I will just deal with red tape. Lol

I know it is a pistol, but I wasn't sure if ob1 knew that he couldn't put a stock on a AR pistol lower without the additional paperwork and cash. He is a member of the Club and just trying to keep him out of "pound me in the ass prison". Lol.
