Horton Knives....FIREARMS CHAT THREAD 3

Yes the larue obr's are out of my price range at this time
But they are nice ! ...

Jamescaan,

Thanks for the kind words and insight !
Do you run any of the giessele triggers
In.any of your rifles ? If so which one
And which do you think is the better
Trigger the ssa or the g2s ? Oh and
What about grips ive been eyeing the
Command arms accessories g16 pistol
Grip but can find much info on it ?

Frank

I run a Giessele SSA in one, and its my favorite. I have a KAC in another, and another 2 stage that I cant remember where I got it. Maybe an RRA? On grips, I dont care for the CAA stuff. I may have one you can have if I can find it. I prefer the Magpul Miad to everything else Ive tried. The MOE is nice and I kinda like that Hogue grip, too. I just got my LaRue Stealth back from the paint shop, I'll snap some pictures and get those up tonight, hopefully.

Jamescaan,
Im leaning towards the ssa myself
On grips I had forgotten about the
Hogue & magpul grips and I dont
See how I did that ! The caa grip
Caught my eye due to it being
Featured the the gun mag I wrote
Of in my first postings ! Also the
Stark se-1 grip also was in that
Magazine ! Any opinions on that one ?

Frank

Ive never used one. I'd honestly recommend the MIAD, from personal experience its my favorite. Plus you can stash 3 rounds or some batteries in the grip plug.

LaRue back from the painter, followed by a gratuitous bolt gun picture where I had the scope painted to match the stock.

+1, MIAD is the only one I like as well. Let's hear the specs on that boltgun mang,,,:)

Its a PGW Coyote, 308. Absolutely, positively, 100%, my favorite firearm. I've owned lots of custom rifles, and I have an Accuracy International AE that I love, but the PGW will go to the grave with me. Its a laser beam, and makes me look competent. And the Schmidt and Bender scope makes me hate all my other optics. It makes the world look better. :D BTW, if'n anyone needs ceracoating or duracoating done, I'll get you the guys info. His work is amazing, and he's a nice guy, to boot.

Once I get the rifle ill be buying different grips if I dont like the stock
