The first step of the wait is over. My .45 is at the gun shop. Now I have to wait three days per Illinois law to pick it up. They actually called and time and date, down to the minute:rolleyes:, to pick it up.

Bruce, I looked it up and the FNP tactical is wider and taller than the H&K 23. The H&K is longer and has around a .5' longer barrel. BTW, I'm officially signed up for the class.

cool lookin rifle!
I wish I had a clue what all this shit was.
I bet im missing a treat, but I just barely know which is the
dangerous end.

If it hurts your shoulder, flip it around. :p

rlarge, I didn't know that Wes fellow was getting you into pictures.
That explains why you were willing to succumb to the atomic wedgie. :D
Cool video!

Which one? the 01/08-01/09 in Camden?

I noticed they have some mobile courses offered here in the ATL area.

Camden in January, that would be cool. I just don't want to drop my new bling in the gravel.

Cool video Rick.

Does anyone have any ear pro recommendations? Quality is more important than cost. I only have 2 ears and plan on doing a lot more shooting.

I've used a set of pro-ear muffs for a lot of years. Expensive but nice, but I still double plug for most shooting.

No experience with the ear pro's.

Normally just use plugs or Howard Leight muffs, unless I'm shooting the socom 16, then I use both :D

The Leights are 30 db reduction and have a pretty decent price. They are not electronic.

Not sure how they would do moving and grooving, but notice Large only has plugs, but that maybe just for the camera :D;)
