I also use Howard Leights. I think they are called Impacts? For the price they are incredible. Indoors I use some Peltor combat plugs with the muffs.

Just wanted to post that Jeremey turned me on to a website www.swfa.com I was looking for a good scope for my model 70 30-06. I ended up getting a Simmons Aetec master pro 4-14 by 44 with a lit reticle. these were normaly $259 but were on sale for $139 and another 25% off from simmons with a free 4 inch sun shade. Swfa were great to deal with and this scope is clear and bright was a great buy. I can not recommend swfa enough! Thanks again Jeremey!

I use the regular Breakfree CLP. What's supposed to be the difference?

I normaly use breakfree CLP, but some guys were raving about gunzilla. They said it works really well. Its also non-toxic and doesn't have a bad odor, so you can clean your smokewagons inside and not piss off mama

I have had no luck, even with Accubore, getting the lead out of this barrel, looks like melted wax in there. Any ideas?

I got kicked out too, by momma and the little one.

Any of you guys have a Les Baer? I want to buy a 45 but I'm interested in performance and accuracy. I was thinking in the Les Baer or the Sig Sauer P220 Super Match. Any ideas?

I have a Les Baer TRS. It's a great gun.

Caveats: I like the Brown grip safety better. Also, the TRS came with Novak knock-off sights that do not have the white outline around the tritium.

De-burring the internals of LB's (or any 1911) is a good idea after a couple of thousand rounds, too.

Happy 1911 hunting!
